Cracker Barrel

We were a large crowd of close to 20 but I have to give the server credit. She took our orders quickly and orderly. Our drinks came quickly the coffe refills kept coming so the service was excellent. This was very good also. I had the eggs Benny with a side of grits. It came with cooked apples which was very god also. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a place to have breakfast or brunch.

Haven’t been CB in a while but it was pretty busy so I’m not sure if this is normal but the staff was amazing and polite and our waiter was very attentive 🫶 pictured is the cheesecake stuffed strawberry pancakes( I think I can’t remember) ⭐️9/10 not too sweet very good but the strawberry jam just wasn’t my preference :))

Usually, this place is amazing, but yesterday morning, I went to have breakfast with my husband, and we walked in the greet and sat up right away but then we waiting 10 minutes or more for our waiter to come ask us anything and she didn't even introduce herself and had such an ugly attitude when we finally got to order it was another 20 minute wait to even get our food and again our water Brandy didn't even check on us to ask of we needed more tea or coffee which we did and it may be her fault but my bacon wasn't even cooked all the way and my French toast didn't have butter it was just such a horrible experience amd after she ate we waited yet another 5 minutes for our check I had to get up and ask the host to get it for us I hope Brandy has a better day I know we all have our good and bad days but no need to take it out on someone else

They’ve unfortunately messed up a couple of my orders BUT they have ALWAYS CORRECTED IT by giving me a free meal remake/replacement & never given me a hard time or just saying sorry & that’s it, nope they’ve always corrected it, apologized and had it ready for me when I was ready to pick it up. Their food is DELICIOUS & always ready on time even when they’re slammed. Their store has the most unique beautiful items. What can I say I love Crackle Barrel Old Country Store🥰 TY for serving such delicious food & having great customer service! I definitely recommend eating here!!

We were in San Antonio for an event during the week of Thanksgiving and decided to have Thanksgiving dinner at The Cracker Barrel. We expected a long wait and somewhat stressful experience since they were bound to be very busy, but ended up waiting only 15 minutes and overall had a relaxing, wonderful time. The dinner included all the traditional things, even a slice of pumpkin pie. The food was good and portions were perfect. Our waiter was excellent. The place was packed, but he was very attentive, patient, and polite, one of the best servers I have witnessed. Considering how busy it was, I was so impressed by all the staff. In addition to serving customers inside, they were distributing take-home orders out back, yet, from my perspective, kept everything running smoothly. The Cracker Barrel is one of the few chain restaurants I have consistently had good experiences with, and this visit really exceeded my expectations

Dropped by tonight on veterans day for dinner. They had a free slice of Coca-Cola cake for veterans, thank you! The service we got from wait staff, Jeff, was awesome. He was attentive & consistent, great job & thank you Jeff. The food was hot & fresh for a cold rainy night. The biscuits were hot & soft, added some butter. Forget about it! The baked sweet potato was hot & delicious! The sparkling Moscato was the hit tonight. Thank you cracker barrel!

Cracker Barrel tends to be consistent when I visit but this time, the food wasn't up to par. The hashbrown casserole was dry and tasted a bit sweet. It was kind of like it had been prepared in a pan that had been used for something sweet. The meatloaf also wasn't as tasty as usual. Our waitress was great for the most part but did forget my refill at one point.

Almost always enjoy our food here. Hubby always gets breakfast any time of day. I got the meatloaf and chicken sampler plate. Very generous meatloaf portion. Food was cooked good. Chicken was breaded and not dry. Potato and brown gravy was great! A little small on the portion but tasty. Sweet carrots are my favorite. Sweet but not too sweet. We had a waitress that was 1 week into her job so I can’t judge her. Lol she was great!
