My first time there and enjoyed it. The staff were friendly, courteous, and attentive. Although I was there for happy hour with friends, the appetizers offered were delicious. We shared the Paris Pizza, calamari, and chicken stuffed bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers. Delicious! Highly recommend this place.

This is not a big restaurant with quiet pretty decorations, there's soft instrumental music is playing. The service is excellent.
The food is pricey. And is not amazing, I would say. My brussel sprouts weren't cooked through and Frederick's salad missed dressing it seemed. Blue cheese salad was quite tasteless.
The restroom is only one and it definitely needs some cosmetic repairs, beginning from its door.

Parmesan Halibut
The carrots were slightly crunchy and a bit undercooked. 4/10
Broccoli was perfect. Had a nice savory steamed taste. 8/10
The potato was sweet. It was nice and firm, yet soft of the point of eating it comfortably. Wonderful. 7/10
Asparagus was nice and easy to chew. It adds to the accent of the flavor, but it also feels slightly out of proportion with the rest of the savory flavor as the vegetable itself tends to come bitter. Maybe a bit more seasoning. 5/10 The bottom of the Asparagus was very bitter and more on the crunchy side. 3/10
The pesto complimented the halibut very nicely. It has a nice twang to it that goes very, very well with the meat. 6/10
The fish itself could use some salt. It was nice, crispy, and flaky. I was slightly disappointed because of the lack of parmesan in the fish. I could barely taste it. The fish tasted amazing in the garnish 7/10

Rum Euphoria
The cake was amazing. It was moist and cool. The berry garnish was the sweetest berries I ever had. The rum used on the cake was also a perfect compliment to the chocolatey outer layer. Perfectly executed! 10/10

Our waiter, Ryan, was absolutely amazing. He was so wonderful and smelled nice. Everyone needs a Ryan as a server. It was my birthday so he brought me a giant sparkly candle cake!!

Awesome menu; it’s hard to choose. I got the salmon; it was delicious, with sweet Thai chili sauce. The vegetables were cooked perfectly. The Brussel sprouts were also delicious.

Impromptu decision to have dinner tonight @fredericks_bistro. Happy hour is on Mondays through Saturdays from 4pm to 7pm in the bar area. No reservations.
Dad had the Lemonade, my husband had the Chardonnay, and I had the Shiraz. The soup of the day was Lemongrass soup with Vermicelli. It reminded me of Thai soup. We shared the Calamari with Spicy Chinese Noodles, Vietnamese Dumplings, and Duck Liver Mousse. The dumplings were so delicate and light, we added another order! For the sweet ending, we had the Frederick's Trio, which was Chocolate Terrine, Rum Euphoria, and Creme Brulee! Everything was delicious, we finished it all! It took no time for all the food to come out and Ryne was great.
Met Frederick for the first time today. He was born in North Vietnam, and I heard from Ryne that most of the food is Frederick's Mom's recipe. Love it ❤️

This place is exquisite!!! So delicious and everything i had i absolutly loved it. The duck just melts in your mouth and the lamb wow...the vietnemise dumplings were so delicious and the split pea soup was phenomenal...i can eat that soup every day...lived across the st from this place for over a year and a half and finally tried it...def fine dining and delicious...so glad i tried it finally!!! The atmosphere is very quaint and comfortable with dim lighting atmosphere..def recomend this place 100 times over!!!!!

I’ve been dining here for years, and it is fantastic. Regardless of occasion, special event or just happy hour with cocktails and appetizers, everything is delicious, well presented, and impeccably served. Our most recent outing was Valentine’s Day dinner. Once again, Frederick’s did not disappoint!

My girlfriend turned me onto this place 3 yrs ago… I brought my brother and his wife last year, and now it’s our favorite❤️
The service- outstanding Always! I’ve come for lunch, brunch, dinner, drinks… it’s brilliant!
The food-the food… you know when you leave a place and you’ve just finished eating and you get in your car and go home…. Well, I promise that from the first moment this food hits your taste buds until you finish- you will savor every morsel and revel in every bite- yep, ITS THAT GOOD! When you leave here you won’t be able to stop saying, “That food was soooo good!”

Last night we had the Brussels sprouts- you’ve had ‘em… but these are elevated!! The sauce is divine - kind of a Thai chili deal but better!
Then there were the Oysters Casino- good gravy- my eyes rolled back in my head- lightly cooked and topped with bacon🙄👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻yes, bacon!! Every bite melted in my mouth! Then the calamari siting on a bed of noodles… the sauce !! The sauce!! Slightly tangy - not your run of the mill marinara - then the beautiful sautéed spinach with garlic - it’s what I remembered most about Florence and theirs brought me right back to the Altra Arno! Then the Trout! Lightly season and grilled so it had a lovely crust and moist and tender inside❤️❤️❤️so good! The Calamari & the sprouts and the spinach were large enough to share between 4 ppl! The bartender at the bar makes a mean dirty, dry martini! & she’s the one who suggested the Oysters Casino for which we will be forever grateful! My brother ordered the chops and they were gorgeous little pork pops! To keep saying the food was “good” is too little, the food is out of this world every time we come here! Come here with the intent of staying to enjoy and savor! And it’s not because the food comes out late it’s because you deserve to enjoy this experience because it’s not everyday you get food this good so when you do , slow down and take it in!
We finished with the desert “trio” and it did not disappoint and again - 4 ppl shared it and it was perfect!

Always a great meal here. Wait staff tends to look busy but never busy with your table. We have to ask for water refills and they are very skimpy with providing bread and butter for the table. Prices have gone up since the last we were there a year ago. They had a mediocre wine selection. I wanted a glass of the Cakebread Chardonnay but I had to buy the bottle and it was only I drinking wine. Calamari appetizer is the best in town in my opinion. Large strips of lightly breaded calamari sits on a bed of asian style noodles with a sweet and sour sauce. All their desserts are wonderful also.

I didn't know this place existed. We were headed to Naples restaurant but they were closed today. On the way out of the parking lot we saw Frederick's Bistro and thought we would try it. We are so glad we did. We loved it. We will be coming back frequently and bringing our mother as well. The food was served very hot and portions were more than adequate. I have the soup, salad and half sandwich combo. It was a welcomed new twist on New England clam chowder. I chose the Frederick's house salad which consisted of cut cherry tomatoes and little chunks of hard white cheeses will say basil balsamic vinaigrette. Very delicious. My sandwich was a fried chicken on whole wheat nut bread. I'm sure it was homemade. We started off with a calamari appetizer that was to die for. I will be having that every visit. My brother had the quiche Florentine. It seemed to be upscale yet not snooty. Wait staff was very friendly. Beautiful white linen tablecloths starched attractive napkins, water and wine goblets.
