Guero's Taco Diner

Updated review: They now serve dinner 5-10pm! Their name changed to Los Guerkos. This is a dream come true with dinner hours. I thought I loved their breakfast/lunch menu but their dinner is my favorite! Their refried beans got more delicious and the charro beans are the best I've ever tasted (they just changed up their recipe). La Costa taco is usually my go to but I am now in love with the Reagan burrito and then the La Gringo taco to my surprise is my next favorite. Tried a bunch more and everything was so so good! Older review: This place is family friendly. They have a nice salsa bar. They have delicious juices and sodas. Their la costra taco is my (and family) favorite! It's so delicious! The trash can taco is so good too (the bacon is cooked to perfection). They have a brisket taco that my daughter loves (I think it's called bulldog taco). Will definitely visit this location often!

This hidden gem has the best tacos on the north side. The La Costra is a must try. There's a salsa bar with some delicious variety including some heat. Staff is super friendly making for a memorable experience. There's seating indoors and out and they keep the place clean. They used to just be open for breakfast and lunch but they just expanded their hours to be open for dinner service 5pm-10pm. If you do catch the dinner service they have great charro beans (a little spicier than their morning and lunch recipe)

This place is a hidden gem, akin to a diamond in the rough. The food surpassed all expectations with its incredible flavors. The owner, Bernardo, exuded warmth and hospitality. It felt as though I was transported to my grandfather's home, savoring his delicious homemade meals. I wholeheartedly recommend dining at this establishment. One dish that stood out was the Costra Taco - my taste buds were transported to a heavenly realm and back! I must admit, this place even surpasses my mom's cooking. Apologies, Mom!

My first time here; the service and care from the owner to his customers is amazing. I was waiting on my tacos when he walked in and while getting my salsas. He introduced himself and asked my name. I could tell he really likes to make his customers feel at home. He mentioned several by name when they walked in to pick up their orders. Anyways then he asked me if I ever tried their mango juice and just poured me a cup. Followed up by him asking me what I ordered and said; you have to try our trash taco, which comes with almost everthing. Gotta say they were both very delicious, thank you so much for the service and care you provide. That is a very rare thing these days and I'm not a local, but will be back when I'm in town. Also, I noticed other reviews saying food is bland. Well that's what the salt and pepper packets are for. I liked that it was bland, as I seasoned it the way I liked it. I've been to places that used too much salt and couldn't eat it. So I prefer bland and seasoning it myself over already over seasoned and having to throw it away.
