Pericos Bar & Grill

Thank you so much for staying open for us! We arrived with a huge party of 18 after a visitation of our friend who had passed. Our friend loved Pericos! It was her favorite restaurant & we celebrated her life this evening enjoying the same drinks she would always get and some even had the same food! This night meant a lot to us & we appreciate the staff at Pericos!!

Great northwest Mexican food restaurant. Had the beef carnitas plate which are actually beef fajitas cut into cubes ( love fajitas!). Wife had the enchilada plate which are good as well. Happy hour includes their ”parrotails margaritas either frozen or on the rocks. Highly recommend Pericos. Oh, their salsas and chips are great as well. This place is great overall. There is usually a wait, but it's not long enough to be bothersome. The drinks are great, and very well made. The food is delicious. Some of the best fajitas I've had. The enchiladas are amazing, and I have no idea how they made the cheese melt but not fall out. The salsa is always on spot, and although I would have liked warm chips... They're still really good. I have rarely given a place five stars, but this one gets the score. Drinks were about $8 a pop, and the meal was closer to $20, which hurts the wallet on a per person tab, but it's not bad for an occasional night out.

This amazing place is one of the best Mexican restaurants in all of San Antonio. The food was perfect, and the atmosphere was super warm. The manager (Ivan, aka boss man) accommodated us like no other. When you’re thinking of having a perfect meal, remember this restaurant’s name... Pericos. Excellent services, they maintain cleanliness and take care of your every need. I didn't get the waitress name... She was absolutely incredibly fabulous.

Went on a Tuesday night with my girlfriend. Andrew was our server and he provided exceptional service. He was very friendly had great conversation and made us feel as if we were family kudos to Andrew. We will definitely be back and will ask to be seated in Andrews section for sure, he is an asset to Pericos Mexican restaurant
