Displace is severely underrated in this town. Every time I've gone there's only been maybe two other couples there and I honestly don't understand why. The food is absolutely amazing. Everything that I have ever gotten or the family has ever gotten, we have loved. I will say this however, the service could be better but I'm not going to deduct a star for that. Do yourself a favor and give it a shot, I promise you you won't be disappointed

Authentic tastes! The chicken in my biryani was exceptionally flavorful and tender. If you're feeling adventurous, give the tashreeba a try. It's a dish with soft bread soaked in tomato- based soup, with rice and lamb on top. Also, the zaatar and bread to start off the meal were worth the visit alone!

2nd time eating here.
Tasty food. Definitely recommend if you've had Iraqi food before or even if you haven't.
It is ok if you don't know what you want. The staff are extremely helpful (Family owned and operated I believe) and both times they helped me figure out what to order. I can vouch for the kabobs. The naan is amazing.
One of the staff suggested that I wasn't eating things the best way: tear off piece of bread, grab meat, grab some rice, shove in mouth, take a bite of onion, take a bite of other veggies. Admittedly, he was correct: made the tasty even tastier.
Staff recommended to me that breakfast there would be good so I'll try that someday: lamb is always good.
Highly recommend this place. I will return.

Good Arab food. Interesting Arab breakfast dishes too. You don't find that very often. The family running it are lovely people. Note, there is no actual bakery there despite the name.

Baghdad Bakery and Restaurant. Located slightly outside 410 on Evers. It’s a gem of a restaurant. The bread appetizer was piping hot and felt like it came straight from the oven. The lamb kobab sandwich which has lamb and salad inside a pita bread was amazing for $7. We also tried the mixed grill plate and chicken biryani, also delicious. Overall the meal was awesome in this quaint restaurant. @huangflash

Great food and great service at an affordable prices! It's my to go place when I'm in San Antonio. Also I recommend it to whoever wants to start on the middle eastern food and the Iraqi cuisine in specific. Authentic taste!

Good food, good service, friendly staff. My family had a leisurely meal. We were there mid afternoon and were the only diners not middle-eastern, but we were made to feel very welcome. There was a little cultural confusion regarding serving hot tea after meal instead of wirh meal, but wsiter apologized amd explained the confusion. Would definitely go back.
