Fajita Express Mexican Grill

I've lived in San Antonio my whole life, while other places are adding fusion food and raising prices drastically, fajita express has kept their food at a high quality and their prices have barely fluctuated. The restaurant looks smaller than it actually is and can accommodate quite a few people inside with a wonderful atmosphere inside. I'm a fan of their fajitas but don't forget about their breakfast tacos. The best time to go is off times so you don't get a like, but you can also call ahead and order your meal.

Took off a star because this place is truly amazing, when it’s amazing. I’ve found that when I order it from door dash it can either be really delicious or very lacking no in between. Most of the time it’s good. The only thing is when you ask for extra hot sauce sometimes they don’t give it to you. However, I would recommend to the people talking mess about ordering from door dash, yes they (the restaurant itself ) do deliver the food themselves it says on the bottom delivered from merchant. I tip well every-time I get it. So if you’re not tipping that might be why your order takes so long, or doesn’t come out good! I don’t blame them. TIP YOUR DELIVERY DRIVERS!!!

I've driven by this place for years. Each time I think, "I should give them a try". I finally did and boy was I surprised. The fajitas were soft and very tasty. I've tried other places and for some reason they're not consistent on selling soft fajitas. I'll keep going there. If I ever get a batch with tough fajitas, I'll post here. Hopefully, that won't happen. Enjoy!

Fajita Express is way better than you would expect given the name. The food is legitimately delicious AF. I've order from them several times and the freshness and flavor are consistently fantastic. I've had many a Mexican restaurant dish that couldn't compete with the flavors they're delivering at Fajita Express.

Food is delicious, especially their Carne quisada and beef fajitas. I have tried other selections as well and have yet to be disappointed. Their hot sauce is also perfection. The customer service at the drive thru and walk up counter is very good, employees always treat you with professionalism and respect, when ordering delivery, it takes almost an hour to get it delivered, this does need to improve. Overall, I do recommend this establishment!

The food anytime I've ordered has been GREAT! It looks really good, and I've never been in person, however, I plan to go soon. The photos others have shared of the inside has me a bit concerned. However, as far as delivery It's been pretty good. One time I got a text letting me know my order arrived, and with others no notification that's most likely my fault I need to fix our ring doorbell it unfairly gives the impression they can click it and we'll know someone is there. I will say this place has hands down some of the best Mexican food in the area. I'll update my review once I get to eat in person with my wife, but, for now really solid place for food. I like the chips and queso with salsa they're not skimpy about the chips or dips. The green enchiladas have been great, and the Asada as well. That's all I've had so far so I'll let y'all know.

Was our first time visiting and didn’t know what to expect however, it was a very pleasant experience. From the outside it didn’t look like a place to sit and dine but it was. The inside doesn’t accommodate a very large group of people, maybe 10 to fifteen tables so, it’s an intimate space. The food was very good and we’ll definitely go back.

I think too many people are sleeping on this place! Everything I've had so far has been amazing! Don't let the looks of the building discourage you. The workers are nice and friendly. The food is always fresh and hot. Sweet tea is great as well. Bean and cheese tacos are cheap and the best in town! Try the fajitas too 😍
