Macho Libre

I tried macho libre for the first time today.. and my only regret is why I didn’t try it sooner!! I got the street tacos, my goodness it was great! I usually go for the salsa verde and ignore the Roja... but the roja salsa is amazing! I don’t know what’s in it but they need to bottle it up and sell it! I would put on everything! It really completed the whole dish and took it to another level! Anyway, this place is great! I look forward to trying other plates from this restaurant!

Macho Libre is my new favorite place. The food is outstanding! Fresh, scratch made and truly delicious. There service is top notch, the servers are extremely helpful in picking just want you want. I have eaten there many times, there are dozens of places to choose from in that area, for me it's Macho Libre. I actually travel about 30 miles in from the hill country just to eat here. Always fresh, always friendly, always perfect and truly affordable.

This was our first time and we only went through the drive thru. The food smells amazing and the young man at the window was super polite and thoughtful, he asked if we needed salsa, utensils and plates ( we had ordered a family meal). I do have to say that the food is very good but not as amazing as it smells, although a little salt did help a lot. The tortillas were fresh and were heated/cooked (?) as we waited for the order. I would definitely order from here again.

When they say XL burrito, they mean it. The food was delicious. The indoor seating is really small, but they have additional patio seating when weather permits. The style is similar to that of Chipotle and the staff is very nice. I will definitely remember this place when I'm in the Medical Center area
