Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream - San Antonio

This place is amazing. Unlike traditional ice cream shops, you get to make up your own flavors on the spot, and because you choose all the components, no ice cream shop has a better selection of dairy free, sugar free, or vegan flavor options. Plus, you get to play with the giant vapor cloud formed by liquid nitrogen, which the kids love. Did I mention they use liquid nitrogen to flash freeze everything together into ice cream? It's pretty awesome to watch, and you get a tasty treat to enjoy afterwards. I highly recommend checking this place out if you have the chance.

I love this place. I visited this place two times and service was amazing. Server was always nice and polite. Ice cream option is just fantastic. First, you can pick the type of ice cream such as yogurt, and milk. Next you can pick from many different flavors. I usually get coffee. Lastly, you can pick toppings. Each topping is $.50. Once you pick everything, server will mix everything in Nitrogen. Then you get a nice cold ice cream. Unlike other frozen yogurt and ice cream shops, toppings mix up together. Instead of worring about eating topping first, you can enjoy toppings as you eat the ice cream along. I will definitely visit here more when the weather gets hotter.

This place is awesome! Staff is extremely friendly and efficient. We recently took a group of girls to celebrate my daughter's birthday and the workers were great . I had called ahead to get info, and everything was even better than expected. The girls had a blast , and the birthday girl felt really special ...they made it a point to wish her a happy birthday . Way to go, subzero! Staff on 3.2.18 deserve a raise. You just don't see customer service like this often . Made my day. Definitely recommend . Definitely will visit again. Higher price if it were just ice cream, sure, but the price is for the experience...and that was out of the park!

This place is the coolest place ever. Especially if you are Vegan with nut or coconut allergies. The instant ice cream is cool to watch. Tons of flavors and toppings. Custom flavored ice cream is ready in seconds. This may be the only place with dairy free and coconut free ice cream. This is our go to spot for birthdays.
