Exactly what you're looking for in a taqueria; good food at a good price, served well. A word about this salsa... it is not fiery hor, but it has a full flavor that goes up till you're smelling it as much as tasting it while the chip (white corn, seems to be) crunches in your mouth. It ends in a nice, fiery, burn on your tongue that lasts until you soothe it with horchata. The pastor isn't hot... a little spice, or its not pastor, but it doesn't burn like the salsa. Maybe it's the avocado, so creamy, that cuts the spice a bit. Every few bites, I take a drink of horchata, just for the joy of the flavor. The diced lettuce and tomato add a touch of crunch, and the bread is just lightly toasted inside, adding its own layer of texture, a roughness to the edge of the torta itself.

I have been coming here for a while now one of the best lunch deals in town for under 10 bucks. The food has always been good. The staff has always been friendly and will get you whatever you ask for. I only wish the chips were a little better and gave you a little more salsa. But this will continue to be one of my lunch spots.

I got a beef fajita quesadilla and an asada with cheese. The Asada was perfect reddish seasoned asada I’ve come to love here in SA. The fajita was also well seasoned and very tender. The chips were airy crispy, the salsa was more on the tangy picante side but still delicious. I like this place and plane to come back.

There is no shortage of Mexican restaurants here in SATX, and most of them are pretty good, and also pretty similar. This one is a little different. The staff was attentive and efficient, the decor was Tex-Mex casual (Can't go wrong with that) and the prices were in line with expectations. That should be expected, and we were not disappointed there. What sets this place apart was the food. There is just something about it that tastes better than most. The three of us all ordered different plates, and all three of us commented how good everything was.. Living here in San Antone, where you can get good, fresh cooked, Mexican food at a gas station, it really made us stop and think about just how good everything was .. Better ingredients? Kitchen staff at the top of their game? Management that doesn't cut corners? It could be one , all or none of these... But there is definitely something here..

Lived in the area for a long time and have recently just decided to try the place.. When I tell you that if I could give this place 3 trillion stars, I most definitely would. Ordered some regular chicken burritos and even just by smelling and looking at it I knew I would have an otherwordly experience. It legit looked so DELACTIBLE AND HEAVENLY I was so excited to devour it I was JUMPING in my seat. Exceeding all expectations, when I finally took a bite of the burrito I feel as if all my problems disappeared. very yummy. five stars. amazing.
