Longhorn Cafe

Called in my order and the woman was nice and patient. The taste of the food is always great. My only complaint is the sweating the food caused in the to go containers. We got fried mushrooms, fries, and hamburgers. The fries and mushrooms were soggy. The bottom bun on our burgers was wet and soggy. Maybe if they put napkins in the to go containers to soak up the sweating? I can appreciate the food was hot when they put it in, unfortunately, it doesn't translate well for to go.

Even though it is a little hidden from the road, we were welcomed with smiles and surprised to see such a large, clean establishment. I could certainly see having an event here. We had the Chicken-Fried Steak sandwiches with onion rings. The sandwich had been just what I had been craving, and if you like onions, then you'll like their rings. We'll be eating here again.

Didn't know this location existed till I hit the trusty Google maps to find restaurants nearby... Same great tasting burgers as all other locations. The one pictured is THE BIG JUICY, and it certainly was! Added grilled jalapeños and bacon. It was challenging to handle this big burger with all the fixings, but I showed it who's boss. 😉 My only real disappointment was that they used shredded cheese (cheddar) instead of sliced. Not sure if that's the case at other locations. Fries were crispy and fresh. I definitely need to come back for the chicken tenders...saw someone's and they were YUGE! 😲 Not sure how they work it out, but this location also has a private room if that's something you are looki g for. 👍

Marinated 8 oz. grill chicken platter with mushrooms and provolone cheese surrounded by onion rings and fried okra make me ate a little faster but at the same time I was trying not to finish it; sadly, I realized in a quick glance: My colorful rich taste dish was already empty. Nick and Ethan wait for me….I’ll be back!!!

Walking in this place i was a bit worried because it was only one truck outside. As I made my way to the counter I notice the staff was all teenagers (more red flags) the young lady took my order and she was so nice and very polite, I didn’t feel any judgement as i ordered a bacon cheeseburger with extra cheese and a lg order of jalapeño poppers (extra greedy lol) my food came fast and it was fresh and hot. On god i never tasted a burger so freaking delicious. The sweet tea is good you can actually taste tea and not just sweet water like most places. (Mushroom Swiss burger with side of queso)

We've last eaten at the Long Horn Cafe before the Covid Pandemic. Their comfort food has always been good & reasonably priced. Somehow, for whatever reason, we had not returned. One orders and pays for meal at counter prior to being called to pickup. Paid right at $30. No tipping but a jar is at the counter. We ordered Fried Mushrooms, a 4 pc Chicken Tender basket & a Chicken Fried Steak with two sides.There is no server or waitess as you dine in. Customer serves self. Your meal is prepared just for you in order received. Wait time was minimal. Food items were fresh, hot, & tasty. Not as close as restaurants we normally patronize but convenient to where we were doing business today. Might consider eating here more oftenwhen we plan to dine out at similar restaurants.
