Mod Pizza

I really like the pizza. It's fresh and tastes remarkably different from other places. I really liked the cheese bread. I really didn't like the politics all around. Coming from a gay dude, one rainbow flag I think is sufficient, you make pizzas not policy. The politics aside it does make the decor look really tacky with all bunch of paper stickers all over the walls.

Awesome and friendly employees, manager and food! They truly care about customers and its the only pizza place I will eat at. Fresh ingredients and I love the cauliflower pizza! I keep it simple, margarita style. My husband likes the same but with plant based sausage on it and some veggies. We love the cakes too! Delicious!

When we first moved to San Antonio, we heard of a place that is a "subway but with pizza". We had to try it.... My wife loves the Margherita pizza. It changed the way she looks at pizza as a whole. I create my own monstrosity every time. They do not charge extra for toppings... Whats not to love??

We ordered on the app. Went inside when the app said to but the pizza wasn’t done just yet. It seemed a bit hectic and crazy and the line was almost out the door. I felt kinda bad for the woman that was boxing the pizzas. I loved my supreme pizza it was cooked perfectly and it was delicious. My husband tried the pepperoni and it was also good but not cooked long enough and it had way too much sauce which he doesn’t like. We would still definitely recommend this place for some good pizza. I would recommend ordering from the app or you will be waiting in a very long line as it’s pretty popular. We would eat here again for sure though. Wish they had wings but I knew they didn’t. Also loved the balsamic vinaigrette and the pesto sauce.

Mod pizza is great for lunch. Crispy thin crust pizza at 11'. Plenty of great options to choose from. I got the Calexico (Buffalo chicken) the cheese was gooey really good flavor and a drizzle of Buffalo on top. It did not stand a chance. My son got the Mad dog (pepperoni, cheese, sausage.) We were not disappointed. Oh, and you can grab a beer here too!

The pizza is always good, fresh, not burnt (made to order). The “no name cake” is always a plus (think of a delicious chocolate ding dong but better). They have a nice beverage selection (they have milk and apple juice for the kids, so that’s nice!)The staff is sometimes friendly, but mostly effective and the restaurant is generally clean.

Mod Pizza always delivers but my pizza artisan Hagop crushed it! I ordered the Mega Calexico and added a little extra cheese, bacon, pineapple, onions, and their hot chile sauce. My face melted a little but it was fantastic. The staff was great and all areas of the restaurant were clean. You cannot go wrong at this Mod Pizza.

Of course being older and a father, our kids have been enjoying this place since it has opened and always kept telling Mom and Dad about the cauliflower pizza! Well I finally got off the couch last night and took my youngest son to go enjoy a pizza that was fantastic! My son told me it's like a Subway in which you can pick the crust and also all the toppings that will follow to enhance your pizza experience here at Mod. I only did we enjoy the environment about 8:30 to 9:00 p.m. is when we showed up, but the staff was super friendly. They do offer of course sweet tea unsweet tea, and your fountain drinks and other tasty beverages for both adults and the little ones. For me it was a fantastic experience I definitely would return as I am diabetic and I appreciate that they asked me at the counter if I have preference or dietary concerns due to which pizza I ordered. And anyone who cares about my health besides my family and my wife, deserves five stars if you ask me! Thanks to the staff again for a wonderful and pleasant evening out with our boy!
