Doner Kebab Cafe

Well, I have been here twice now and I keep forgetting to take a photo before I chow down on this amazing food. But, this place is absolutely wonderful! I've had friends go and say great things about it, and my first time was terrific! Even though some of the menu is limited during Covid-19, (no waffles :( ) the kabab and chicken are nothing short of delicious and fresh! The first time I went in it was just the one gentleman server, and there were three of us diners for dine in. I got the combination plate and was salivating the entire time the chicken was cooked fresh. The food was very filling and good for the price. The second time (as I'm writing this review) was a to-go order, and I went with just the Doner Kebab because it's the quickest to make (just the kabab right off the skewer). Again, it was just the one gentleman there that came out with a smile on his face. I felt very welcome coming back, even though the signs said "closed" he apologized saying he was "very busy" and forgot to flip the signs. Regardless, the plate that I got was packed full of rice, with a hardy layer of meat on top, fresh veggies, and a perfect layer of sauce over all of it. I got a cup of hot sauce on the side and I devowered the entire place within 15 minutes of getting home. I don't normally leave reviews on Google, but for small businesses like this one with exceptional food and service... I make no exceptions. This place deserves all the great reviews and ratings thus far, especially for how well this owner is adjusting to the times of covid-19. The gentleman is very nice, knows his portions, and makes some mean Kebab. I would emphatically recommend going if you've been wanting to try it, as I'm for sure going to become a regular at this location!

I am very impressed with the food here. A friend and I had just got out of class and we're headed to the nearby bar for a drink. But we saw Doner Kebab and thought, yeah, let's try it. I didn't know what to order so I thought, ok, try the Doner Kebab and I randomly chose the bread variant. It was awesome, and for a fair price too. Definitely give it a shot.
