Egg drop soup is delicious. General Chicken has a spice. Good serving size but not crazy amounts like regular Chinese food places. Also tried the Mongolian beef. It was delicious and also had a spice to it.

I went here for the first time today and showed up to Julie cracking jokes and helping us with a smile even 30min to closing. General chicken, sesame chicken, fried pork fried rice, egg rolls all super good! Will be back.

Delicious Chinese food with wonderful service!
We went at lunch with a big group (20), so I was worried it might take awhile, but Julia took our orders and got the food to the tables in no time. It was fresh and tasty. I got the General Chicken, which had a ton of flavor and was cooked well. Egg roll, hot & sour soup and rice were on point. A great experience and a place I will definitely go back to.

Never have been disappointed with anything ordered from New Asia! Love the Hunan Beef and the garlic chicken. Portions are nice sized too! My go to place when ordering to go food!! Thanks for the years of great food and service and taking care of Col. Benfield.

Absolute gem in the Leon Valley area of San Antonio. I grew up eating here, and for decades, celebrated graduations, birthdays, large and small groups, as well as ordered takeout. New Asia has some of the most wonderfully delicious and nostalgic dishes (sesame beef is a big favorite of mine). The lunch specials are priced so affordably and come with HUGE portions, and their hot and sour soup is divine ♡
