Burgerfi

Patties are of good quality Bun seems a little heavy for this price I would expect a quality homemade bun And some kind of kosher option like beef bacon. Onion rings are awesome crispy locking in flavor much like the burgers are. Fries are like Homestyle good potatoey taste but wet and lamp. The hash brown seems to be better than most breakfast restaurants. Nice to see they finally have paper towels in the bathroom instead of that insult to hygiene air knife they have in there still. Been here more than several times and always leave with a very heavy feeling that tends to stick around for awhile. For me this is one of those places where I ask myself why did I do that to myself after I've eaten here.

This was my first visit to BurgerFi, so to give it a comparison to the competition (Hop Doddy) I ordered the CEO which is the Wagyu meat, a regular size onion ring, and an Angry Orchard Cider. I customized the burger with some added mushrooms. The food came out fairly quick and was hot. You could tell it had just come off the grill and out of the fryer. The onion rings were huge but had excellent flavor, a bit of spiciness, cayenne pepper would be my guess since they had a reddish tint to the batter. The onions as large as they were, did not have a raw onion flavor but more of a sweet soft flavor that was great. The first thing I noticed was the brand on the bun. I took a bite into the burger which was very juicy and had good flavor. The meat was tender and the toppings and seasoning went well together. Compared to the Primetime burger at HopDoddy this was on the same level flavor and size wise, maybe even a bit larger. The mule as a whole was really good, the portion sizes were large, but price-wise was on the higher end even without the beer. Total including the beer was about $22. The majority of the Burgers start at $7 and the most expensive is the CEO which is about $11 by itself. Sides of fries and onion rings are $5.50 for the regular and about a dollar more for the large. At the end of the meal I try the vanilla custard which was good as well and was very creamy possibly made with a heavy cream. Overall the meal was very good, and I will probably return in the future, but the prices make dining here regularly unaffordable. I would put this burger place restaurant dining and out of the fast food category.

Always enjoy the burgers and service at the Bandera Road BurgerFi location. Tried the Huebner Road location, as I was in the area. Rather disappointed. No greeting or smile from the cashier. Ordered the standard BurgerFi without cheese and a strawberry shake. Burger arrived without tomato and without my shake. When I asked if the burger is supposed to come with tomato, the response was "no, you have to ask for it". It's a standard topping per their menu board. The burger itself was rather bland, not well seasoned. Shake arrived partially full (see photo)...for almost $5, should it be full? Ok, maybe I expect too much. I will stick with Bandera BurgerFi location.
