April Chinese Restaurant

Love it here the prices are great! I fed a family of 6 for under 50$ and had leftovers 😋. The food is absolutely delicious. I have tried tons of different Asian restaurants and this is the one place that makes my food actually savory, I had sweet food. And their hot oil is so spicy and delicious. Lemonade is sub par sweet tea is top tier and they're very clean for an older restaurant that's very busy. Staff are absolute sweethearts. If you're gonna eat here be prepared to be impressed ❤️

BEWARE of this Aprils Kitchen restaurant!!!! Due to my experience with this restaurant I had, I believe this Aprils kitchen restaurant reuse’s the “wrong order” dishes & mixes them back in with the food in the kitchen to not waste it which is disgusting!!! I ordered a sweet & sour shrimp dish & instead they gave me a com pow shrimp dish that only came with 6 shrimps & of course I ate 2 to try the “spicy dish” before I assumed that it was not my sweet & sour shrimp dish I ordered. When I returned to Aprils kitchen restaurant to return the wrong order for my right order they accused me of eating all the shrimps & that they asked me several times to confirm the order which is not true but false because they didn’t ask me anything!! Also they accused me of scamming them for food! First of all the portions are tiny!! There’s far better Chinese restaurants out there! Also, I believe they have chickens 🐓 locked up in the shed!! BAD FOOD!! I was in disbelief and very disappointed in the way that the employee & the manager/owner of the restaurant treated me & my husband! They insisted we ordered the wrong dish when we clearly know what we ordered! Especially since we have never ordered com pow shrimp & we had no idea what type of dish it was. We had to google it and it’s a spicy dish with shrimp & vegetables. It was very spicy & my husband doesn’t eat spicy food! We own our own business and we would never treat a customer like this ever! If you decide to go to this restaurant just beware! After all of the drama they caused we didn’t eat lunch & we were late for our meeting at work! Not worth it! If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would!! Nothing is unbelievable these days!!

I had been a customer of April's from way back when they were on the ES of town. Once I found out they were here, I became a frequent customer again. After COVID-19 hit, I didn't return until recently. It was disappointing to order food and see that the serving portion/s have/had been reduced drastically. It's almost as if the serving sizes are equivalent to a child's size portion/meal. You're still paying full price for 1/2 the serving portion. Most other restaurants have continued to use the foam to go containers, or a little larger container to go. I might try to dine in once it's a little COVID-19 safer.

If I could give this place a NEGATIVE 100 I would. HORRIBLE service. The lady argued with me about the sesame chicken not being spicy when it was so spicy it could not be eaten and it had a pepper in it. WE WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!!! When I told the lady I need them to come and replace the orders she hung up on me.
