El Bucanero

My 2 sons and their fiancés had a great occasion. The food was delicious and authentic. The drinks were on Point as well. From Beer-i-ta to margarita to margarita bucanera, our thirst was quenched. The menu has a lot of variety. From fried fish to savory ceviche and cocktails. We had aguachiles del Rey and guacamole for appetizers. The portions of the meals are fit for a king. One thing is that the price is medium to high but definitely worth it. I recommend this place. I will be a frequent guest for sure. Give it a shot. Bon Appetit

The most amazing seafood restaurant I've experienced anywhere in the world, and that is not an overstatement. My family and I dine here often because we always vote on where we are going to eat when we go into San Antonio, and El Bucanero almost always wins the vote. I may have reviewed this restaurant before, I can't remember, but it's so good it deserves a 5-star review a week.👏😁 The atmosphere is bright, colorful and relaxing. Their service is excellent. Their food... where do I even start? Portions? Okay, they are more than any one person can eat. Selections... They have the biggest menu I've ever seen. Fast, hot, fresh, and everything I've ever eaten here is delectable! It's a little on the pricy side but if you want a wonderful meal this is the place to loosen your wallet. It's worth every cent and more. El Bucanero reminds you of why life is so grand and should always be bountiful. I don't know who owns or manages this restaurant but they have my heartfelt appreciation. Thank you for being amazing!

Fresh seafood options to include ceviches, cocteles, fried fish options and cold beer! There is plenty of seating and the wait isn’t that bad. Food came out quickly and it was so fresh looking and tasting. One dish is enough to feed two people or more. There is a photographer walking around taking pictures of the diners and their plates. Afterwards you have to option to purchase.

Food is always fulfilling here. The place is pricey but it’s expected for the type of seafood and servings they give. We were seated right away on a Friday evening. If we’re being transparent about price, everything was approximately $130. Margaritas were ice-cold frozen and strong. Servers are attentive and respectful. I would go here on occasion again.

Service was great and attentive although they were quite busy on a Saturday night. Server also suggested we don’t order more than the mocajette because of the size. He was 100% right. The food was tasty and fresh. The drinks were great also. Family oriented. Good to see parents with the kids enjoying.
