El Canelo #6 Mexican Grill

The food was good and the service was also fine but heads up cause my Bill was $ 25.00 and I paid with a card but Tipped in Cash..After I left my statement shows charged for $30+ ... The cashier must have tipped herself an extra $5.00.. NOT COOL. Places like this is why I always pay with Cash only... so sad cause I liked it here.... never coming back! Honesty is hard to come by.

$28 an some change, for two plates of food an two children's plates, and 1 tea an a water. Flavor is there, yum. There little tacos meh, kind of greasy an the tortillas a little hard/maybe old. But everything else was on point, hot, flavorful. Staff was nice an place was very clean. They bring you 3 different type of salsas with your chips. Yum o. I'd go back just for there chips an salsas/cheese dip/ cucumber salsa. Yum. Plus a little bowl of fideo loco or at least something close. Yum.

Ordered juevos rancheros w/refried beans and potatoes. Potatoes were cold, not even warm. As I ate, not once did my waitress come to ask if everything was alright, or to refill coffee. Finished meal and coffee, then had to ask for my waitress. She finally came and left to get me a refill. Waited a while longer, then looked around for her. She was cleaning the tea machine, which involved standing on a step stool. (By the way ... all waitresses wear very short mini skirts). Only one female customer, my wife, and she wasn't happy. Finally flagged down a waitress and got our refills. Not a place I'd return to, (especially w\the wife). El Canelo gets one star for the mini skirts
