Dim Sum Oriental Cuisine

I went to eat here with my family for the first time and we were greeted by a young and small Asian waitress who asked how many we were, I said six and she immediately rolled her eyes and sighed. I then saw her putting two tables together ( I’m assuming that’s why she sighed). After we were seated she only gave us ONE paper menu (we were 6 in total) so it took us a while to order because we had to pass the menu around. I understand Covid and everything but she could have at least given us two or three menus to share. The menu was very confusing and the waitress didn’t bother showing us how things worked because she just didn’t want to. The food was different but okay. The rice was good. The buns were excellent and so were the dumplings.Overall, the restaurant’s decor wasn’t really inviting, in fact it was a little depressing walking in. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning due to the waitress. I can see from here that she must be related to ownership since there are multiple complaints about her and she’s still working there. Safe yourselves the money and go elsewhere. There’s better food out there with better service.

I was excited to try this restaurant after reading all of the reviews but this is honestly a very weird restaurant with a strange ambiance. The tables had chairs stacked on them and the waiters seemed annoyed to have to seat us. The food was okay, the rice was way too salty and smelled like rotten fish. The soup dumplings were okay, but the rice noodle dishes were soggy and practically disintegrating. I would save my money and go somewhere with better food and better customs service. It honestly felt like they would rather have been closed.

I enjoyed my first time here awhile ago right before COVID and the food was delicious. However, I decided to eat here again and this time was not like last time. I ordered the fish maw soup and as I poured some Into my bowl there was a long strand of hair inside the soup and I was shook. I asked the server to come over and I showed it to her and her reaction was not what I expected, not only she didn’t apologize at all she brought the soup back literally two minutes later. I questioned whether or not they remade the soup or just remove the hair out and cleaned around it. I was in aw, I completely lost my appetite and didn’t even touch the soup at all. What worse is they put the soup in the bill after what they have done to me. I wouldn’t have reacted like that or writing this review if they have done what was right in that situation is to apologize or even ask if I wanted the soup again or ask if there was anything they could do. I didn’t receive any of that from them. I wish I have taken a photo as proof before I called the server over. Never again I will be back. I rarely write reviews, it has to be something extreme or pour customer service for me to write something like this on the internet
