Golden Chick

We arrived at around 5:15pm, seeing that we eat fish on Fridays for Lent we decided to try Golden Chick which is closed to our house. We were VERY DISAPPOINTED, first it started with no one working the Front Register we stood there for about 2 to 3 minutes we finally asked the young lady that prepared the orders if someone was working the Register. Finally another 2 to 3 minutes a male person appeared and took our order. Disappointed again we asked for 2 meals of catfish with fries, and were told that the fish was still FROZEN and that we would have to order something else. We were given our soda cups, as I asked the male person for 2 straws for our drinks I was informed that he only had 1 straw and didn’t have anymore WOW!!!!!!. Then it even got worse another family walked in and the older Gentleman walked over to the Ice Cream and found that it was not dispensing ice cream. He asked a male worker who was working the drive through, who was getting some soda. Why the ice cream machine wasn’t working. The male worker noticed that the machine was out of ice cream so he went to the back and then return informing us that they were OUT of ice cream. WOW knowing that Fridays are one of the busiest days went a lot of family go out to eat. Who Does Inventory at this Golden Chick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My food was over seasoned with the spicy salt. They didn't have macaroni or add my white gravy to my order. The customer service was awful. I had one of the workers laugh at me and be rude. I wish I could get my money back, I used to be a loyal customer but I will be taking my services to BUSHE'S CHICKEN because their customer service is great and food is always consistent and fresh.

This used to be on of my favorites, customer service has gone downfill bad bunch of young kids with no respect and lack any sort of service , police showed up when a mom was there saying her son worked there and another worker pulled out a firearm on him and when they were confronted they thought it was funny a step-in manager showed up and talked to the mom and went back and was laughing with his workers about it , the mom told him your workers have firearms and if he knew and from where I was sitting he talked to said worker if he had it on him and it was a obvious yes then they had a car drive by moments later and all of a sudden gave something to them but the mom noticed and confronted the workers about getting rid of it and they just smiled and started being ugly to her since they got rid of it. This was March 12 I will never eat here again not a good place for kids if this is what goes on , better safe than sorry

I don’t recommend this place. Cashier was not helpful. The tea containers were empty. Utensils & straws were not stocked and cashier seem bothered that I asked for them. Roasted chicken was semi-warm and pieces were very small. 5 employees were in a side room visible from the front counter and they were sitting around & playing around.
