Dairy Queen

This was the slowest service I’ve ever experienced in my life. It took 45 minutes to get our 2 meals and then we still had to wait an extra 5 for our fountain drinks. One kid was just walking around behind the register the whole time while the other one was taking orders and not doing a very good job of it either.

ROACHES! After during around town for hours. I offered my daughter an ice cream. Dairy Queen was right around the corner so I parked and went in. I ordered 2 blizzards, a banana split and a hunger buster. I got my number a sat down to wait for our food. While waiting the manager cam over and asked if I wanted my ice cream with my food or after. I thought that was nice of her to ask. I said after. Continuing to looking around the restaurant my eyes fixated on the other side of the booth we were sitting at. There was a roach who was also waiting for our meal to arrive! This was on of those roaches long and brown that drop eggs and where you see one you know there are hundreds more. I quickly got up and asked for every thing to go. As I stood by the counter I noticed the uncovered blizzard toppings. And remembered how that roach casually walked around my booth. I cringed even more. Trying not to let my ( imagination ) get away from me while eating my burger and chewing the hard textures of picked and tomatoes in my burger I stopped and dumped all of the food. After looking back the strong overwhelming smell of Human urine in the parking places at the entrance should have been a warning sign. I know not every dairy queen is managed like this one, but if you are carving Dairy Queen this is one location that fore your sake and the goodness of your children that you should avoid at all cost! Why three stars it isn't the service it was excellent the food was good and all that its they need more workers its always jumping and busy and it is obvious the short staffing is affecting what could be an easy 4 to five star from me. In fact because the staff did try really hard I shall grant the fourth star just keep in mind there may well be a wait for your order and food and its not the staff fault.

We had a horrible experience here! We walked in, were the first in line, waited 10 minutes, no greeting, no we'll be right with you, and the drive thru cars that arrived after us were getting their orders first. We walked out and went to the Nacogdoches Dairy Queen were we met Vincent! He totally made up for it! He patiently answered our questions on the different varieties of brownie blizzards. We did not have a long wait, and we were able to enjoy it there while we complimented his service to his manager. Go there for a great experience. This is our new spot and our friends spot now, because of Vincent. Want horrible service, I mean no service, sticky floors, and dirty tables? Congratulations, you are in the right place. Enjoy! Update 05/17/2022: Apparently, new management is needed at this location by the response to my review and other reviewer responses were the same. There hasn't been good service here for years. I just finally wanted to speak out and say something. I bet the Southside has better service. There's a thought 💭
