Whataburger

No matter what Whataburger I go to here in San Antonio it's a big disappointment. The food never taste fresh. They don't ever get the order right. The fries are always cold. I use to work at Whataburger in Corpus Christi actually at the original Whataburger! I would do orientation classes and train people at different stores! I knew people at the Headquarters when it was in Corpus Christi! We always served the food fresh and hot! Customers were always happy! Things have gone down hill since then way down hill. Sadly

I had heard about Whataburger several times over the years so when I was visiting San Antonio I made it a priority to eat there at least once. Thr burgers were nice and the fries not bad . The most interesting part was the the guys walking around with the condiments. When he asked me what I wanted i said i didn't know since I was a visitor from out of state and that I had heard about them for years. He explained all my choices and i tried the spicy ketchup. That made the fries much better. He came back a few minutes later and gave me one of their paper hats as souvenir. Very nice and Texas friendly.

Service depends on when you go. It seems that in the middle of the night, employees are more likely to slack, maybe inevitably since it takes a certain person to work graveyard shift, plus no managers around? I thought Whataburger was the company to rise above this, but at least on my visits after midnight, does not seem so @ this location. During the day, good service as always and what you might expect any Whataburger location to serve. Wish condiments were not charged extra (besides ketchup, mustard).
