Sonic Drive-in

This was our second time to this location and probably our last!! The first trip was a miserable failure and we didn't discover it until we were already headed to our destination!! I called the next day and the manager arranged for us to have a meal replacement. One of the items was the garlic bacon burger. Not only did it NOT taste garlicky in the least there was NO BACON!!!! The tater tots were a mix of hot & cold!! This is a NO GO for me!! The replacement was almost as bad we asked for NO oreos in the trick or treat blast -GOT THEM ANYWAY! The burger didn't have any requested condiments but did have bacon and a hint of garlic this time. After the second failure we decided to cut our losses and find another Sonic to frequent!!!! Our hops were the only bright spots during our visits!!

The shakes are awesome, people are friendly the only 2 reasons they do not get a 5 star rating is #1) They need to have more fresh food, non fried food options on the menu. #2) They need to make it available for us to be able to tip the servers using our debit/ credit cards. I do not carry cash with me ALL the time, and many times I stop by at the spur of the moment, and I feel really bad NOT TIPPING the servers. These kids are working and out there in the sun. They come with a great attitude, even when I have to apologize for not being able to tip them, they still are gracious. The WORD OF GOD clearly states that a worker is Worthy of his/ her wages. So, please, make it easy to reward them for ALL the work they do!!

Tonight wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great either. I ordered two sweet and tangy cheeseburgers for my wife and I, no lettuce, add tomato. My wife couldn’t finish hers because the onions were raw and the burger was tough and didn’t taste fresh. My burger was the same and my Oreo blast only had Oreos on top and barely any throughout. One plus, no sticky ice cream on the exterior of the cup.
