Olive Cafe

Had an excellent breakfast date with my wife at this cute little cafe! We stayed at a nearby arbnb and our neighbors recommended this to us, I’m thankful they did!! I ordered the chorizo egg scramble plate with hash browns and my wife ordered the cinnamon roll French toast and we shared. Both were amazing!! They really went very well together to get the full sweet and savory meal!! We arrived about 8am and they was no wait or line, by the time we left a little after nine the line was 10 people long and tables were full on a Thursday morning. I do recommend being the early bird to avoid the rush. Also loved the decor, they had some funny stuff!

One of our favorite spots to walk to along the boardwalk. Parking around here is pretty sparse, so you’ll have better luck parking across from Belmont and taking an easy .75 mile walk along the interior bay walking/bike path until you reach Santa Clarita Place, then turn left and walk right up. Ask them for a loyalty punch card and keep it stored on the wall inside next to the self-serve water station. Our favorite meals are the egg scrambles. Can’t go wrong with any of them.

great breakfast and lunch spot! its my fathers favorite breakfast in san diego. very delicious food that comes out fast but watch out for weekends during tourist season as there sometimes can be a line out of the door. good selections at reasonable pricing with a cozy indoor dining area and nice available outdoor seating. if you are in the area and hungry you should stop!
