True Food Kitchen

I’ve been a fan of True Food since they opened, fresh and solid food. They have a new brunch menu that hits that mark in so many categories. The choices, you have some of the San Diego staples, blueberry pancakes, breakfast burrito, avocado toast, and fresh juices. I loved this new brunch menu, and the food was amazing as usual. This is a healthy restaurant so you leave feeling satisfied and not overly stuffed. The one thing that surprises a lot of people is that you can do half orders. We were the first ones there when they opened so it wasn’t slammed yet, which was nice. I recommend making an online reservation if you are coming at a busy time. When I come for lunch or dinner I’ll do half a salad and half a bowl. You get obviously half the portion, but also it’s half the price. Great if you want to try a few things. Enjoy!

The food here is not only delicious but also made with high-quality ingredients for a healthy dining experience. The ambiance is lovely, offering a spacious setting. The outdoor seating is particularly charming with a fire stone ball pit. Both dishes we ordered were fantastic and bursting with flavor. They also offer refreshing mixed drinks and fresh juices that align with a healthy lifestyle. We're definitely planning to return to explore more of their diverse menu and beverage options!

The food is incredible. Fresh. Healthy. A wonderful blend of flavors. We tried the butternut squash soup and immediately fell in love. They place a garnish of toasted sage on top - making the sweet soup stand out with distinction. The entrees were out least favorite part of the meal, but they were still excellent. This place has a way with blending flavors that rivals the very best restaurants. The only distraction is the atmosphere. It’s almost an upscale cafeteria - I believe that’s their intention. The walls and open ceiling are chic, but then there are steel lawn chairs and cafeteria style server stations out in the open. Don’t worry, there are soft chairs to sit on as well. Is nice, just a bit of an odd combination. But it’s loud. Service was exceptional. Food was very healthy and incredibly delicious. Likely the very best restaurant in the Fashion Valley Mall area. We will be back and tell a lot of our friends and family about this place.

Enjoyed our very first experience. Our waitress was very lovely and helpful and I appreciated that she asked if it was our first visit. In which she then explained what type of food and ingredients are used. Food is super delicious with fresh seasonal ingredients. Brunch served on the weekends. Front desk staff were great as well. We asked for outdoor seating in which there is a beautiful huge bonfire pit in the center. Seating arrangements have plenty of space in between and spacious walk ways. Restroom inside restraunt is clean and modern. Mall parking but there is the mall valet parking available. This restraunt is very well trained in hospitality and great customer service. Even the manager will make his rounds to ensure customers' good experience. But I do suggest spraying often outside maybe before opening for bugs and flying insects.

True food kitchen was very delightful. Our waitress was awesome. She gave great suggestions it was very patient and kind to me and my mom. I really enjoyed this time. The restrooms were very nice and clean did not have an oder, paper was not on the floors. It was very unique how the restrooms were set up because when you exit the men or women stall you coming to a neutral area where everyone washes their hands in the same area. different but unique. Enjoyed my lunch with my mommie
