Yanni's Bar & Grill

Oh my gawd. The food was amazing. The staff is fantastic. I went there for the first time tonight to have dinner with friends for Christmas. It got a bit chilly tonight but the staff had the outdoor heaters on before it got cold. Our glasses were refilled regularly. The food came out from the kitchen very quickly. Everything was delicious. I will be back very soon and often.

Yanni's is a bar and grill. I think it wants to be in line with Brigantine. It just doesn't have that same atmospheric sense to it. I'm not saying that is a bad thing. They both have good and bad points, and Yanni's just 'feels' different. Whenever I go here, I always wind up sitting outside, maybe that's why I miss out on the atmosphere of a restaurant. Tent dining is great for a picnic, not so appealing to anyone trying to impress or have a slightly more formal gathering. Yanni's is, after all, a bar and grill, and I have to remind myself of that. The menu selection is well rounded, and matching the 'grill' aspect in the name, they offer a few burgers that sounded tempting. I opted for the bouillabaise. I was satisfied with my selection, although it was strong on the tomato taste. It should have a lighter tomato flavor, in essence, with clams, mussels, shrimp, and octopus in the mix. All I could taste was the tomatoes. It was a very good tomato soup. Over all its a pleasant experience on a scale of one to ten, I'd give it a strong seven. Yanni's is, after all, a bar and grill.

It's my first time here and was impressed by the food it was fresh and tasty. The service though besides the server I had, everyone else looked at me like I belonged in the kitchen washing dishes. From the person that greeted me to the person that brought me,my order. I was here because of work and wasn't wearing my best attire since I work in construction. I felt looked down upon, I didn't realize there was a dre$$ code in order to dine here.

I loved it the first time I tried their Linguine Carbonara Bowl. So, I ordered it again with a side of vegetables. My guy enjoyed the jumbo Sea Scallops. The waiter was attentive throughout our visit. The Chocolate Buddino was scrumptious. I've never had any complaints during our dinners here.

My family and I have been going to Yanni's Bar & Grill probably as early as 2016-2017 and they have been nothing short of an outstanding restaurant business! Yanni and Denise are great owners and my family and I appreciate that the relationship and rapport that they've built with us over time. They've also been reliable hosts and caterers for my family's events such as my college graduation party, wedding rehearsal dinners, post-wedding brunches, you name it! And something they've really stepped up in doing lately are their dinner specials. I loved their chicken parmesan (which I am eagerly waiting its return) and their creamy tomato rotini pasta.
