Fig Tree Cafe

A Sunday morning 45 min wait for a table for 2 prompted us to order online for pickup and eat in the courtyard in front of the restaurant. The food took about 40 mins to be ready and we were fine not having to be packed around others in the actual restaurant 😅. Food was tasty! Eggs Benedict is a must here, their hollandaise sauce is creamy but not overpowering. The arugula Parmesan potatoes were phenomenal. We both finished everything we ordered. I recommend making reservations in advance if you want to it in the actual restaurant.

This place is in a nice area and the food is delicious! The only issue I have is the chairs. I hate the chairs and everytime I go back, I remember why I don't enjoy having breakfast here. I have thighs on me so the chairs have bars on the sides and they dig into my thighs! Totally sucks when I'm done eating the chair is indented on me! Other than that the food is great!! Just wish they had sparkling water instead of the nasty tap water! Again the food is awesome!

We have been to the fig tree cafe in Pacific Beach a handful of times. We wanted to try a different location. We decided to try the one Liberty station after church for brunch. The location was awesome. The atmosphere the vibe the ambience is on point. Our server Joey! One of the best servers we've ever dealt with ever. I mean the guy was so awesome went above and beyond and does his job extremely well. Then we have the food. Of course it was all delicious can't go wrong with it love it. We are fans of fig tree keep up the great work bravo!

Heading back out of town and stopped off at Liberty Station and had breakfast. The atmosphere was great with the service and food. The wait wasn't to long and the food was delicious. We had no complaints about our food and service. I know at times places have problems with staff. For this place we had none. I would recommend for a bite to eat. Enjoy!! Amazing brunch spot - wish we came here before but better late then never. The wait might be long depending on when you get there but it’s well worth it. Everything on the menu sounds delicious but highly recommend the huevos rancheros or French toast. Food came out quickly and the service was great! Can’t wait to come back in the near future.

Fantastic place!! I was visiting town for Memorial Day weekend and got here just before the major rush. I was greeted and seated immediately, no wait. Crispy pork belly with grits was fantastic! Three giant pieces of pork belly over a bed of amazingly smooth and creamy grits with some roasted grits on top, a little sweet but not too overpowering. The soft boiled egg marinated in soy sauce was a perfect addition of savory. My server Joey went above and beyond to make sure I was enjoying my meal time, refilled my coffee endlessly and even had my water biter refilled. It was a little chilly and they didn’t have all the heaters outside working but with hot coffee and breakfast it wasn’t much of an issue.

We had a Mother's day brunch here and it was wonderful! The food was quite tasty, the prices are reasonable, and the service was excellent. The eggs Benedict were done just right and the turkey sandwich was delicious. The wait was 15 minutes but worth it. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. The meal came promptly once we ordered. I highly recommend this breakfast and lunch Cafe.
