I came here because it was close to the holiday inn express. I stayed at. The tacos are the best.

The OG of Rubios! Lobster taco is my favorite. The spot itself is small but I’ve always found parking and seating.

This is not your usual rubio’s chain restaurant. This was more like a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant with great authentic food. They have great food plus a really extensive salsa bar that has different salsa flavors that pair well with specific dishes.

Phenomenal fish tacos. The perfect crunch in each bite together with scratch made salsa that takes flavor to a whole new level.

The founding location for Rubio's, it's very much in-line with more traditional taco shops in San Diego. Cramped, busy, but the food is high quality, and they work fast. Looks are not much, but we go to these places for the food, which again, is great here. So if you want a taste and visit of "Fresh Mex" history, look no further than here.

We did a delivery order from here through Door Dash. The food is excellent. The group had ordered various items - Bowls, Burrito, Tacos and of course the Mexican street corn. Everything was delicious. The food packing was great - just wish they label it better with individual names in a group order.

Quick, fun, inexpensive, great food. Take out or outdoor tables. Relaxed. Nice after the beach spot for a bite. Not a lot of parking, but quick turnover

As always the food was great. This location is a bit noisier than other Rubio's because it is quite close to a busy road and most of the seating is outside. The location is very convenient.

Special fish tacos are so delicious. Taco Tuesday is going to be busy but worth it. Salsas are spicy and delicious.
