Broken Yolk Cafe

We had a late breakfast on Christmas Day. I ordered the En Feugo omelet and hold the jalapeños. And added a side of sour cream. The omelet was tastie, but only 2 eggs. The cooks remembered to hold the jalapeños. I ordered the sour cream in case the chorizo was too spicy for me. I didn't need it. I didnt taste any spiciness from the pepper jack cheese. Thr chorizo was very mild to my taste buds. The menu emphasized that guacamole was part of the meal. And honestly, the half-tablespoon serving on top of the salsa was contrasting green on red. Just decoration. Not substantive to the meal. Would I order this again? Maybe. We rarely eat out for any meal except dinner. Which rules out all restaurants like this that are not open after lunch.

Amazing breakfast and service. had the American breakfast with OJ. well cooked and the server was so wonderful. Also ordered a Dog Breakfast of two eggs and bacon for my dogs and they cleaned off the plate. Enjoyed the meal outside on a great patio with my dogs. the ambiance was just what was needed!

My first visit to a Broken Yolk Cafe in the San Diego area was great. This location has a nice outdoor seating section with plenty of room. The main dining room was not very busy so no wait time for me. Enjoyed a steaming cup of Joe accompanied by their Ranchero Skillet, which was very satisfying. My server was great and attentive. Would definitely return if I find myself i the area again.

I can't rave enough about the incredible breakfast experience I had at this charming brunch spot! From the moment I stepped in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for a delightful morning. The menu was filled with a wide variety of mouthwatering options, and each dish was prepared with care and precision. The fluffy pancakes were an absolute dream, and the perfectly brewed coffee added an extra kick to start my day. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure every detail was taken care of. Without a doubt, this place has become my go-to spot for a fantastic breakfast and brunch!

This is a really nice place with amazing food and friendly people. We ate there twice and both times it was excellent. The only criticism I can provide is they couldn't seem to make my scrambled eggs soft. I'm aware most people probably complain if their scrambled eggs arrived undercooked, but that's the way I like mine. They even have a pretty good Monte Cristo! I think it would be better if they used Gruyere instead of Swiss, but it's not a big deal. The lemon ricotta pancakes were absolutely fantastic. Possibly the best pancakes I've ever had in my life.

Everything is perfect! Me and my wife went to Broken Yolk Cafe as our first date when we were young, and we have been going ever since. The Broken Yolk in Point Loma is our favorite and Point Loma is where we got married and where we live now. I don't know how we can improve because we have the best time every time we go. I wouldn't mind a private table but that is just a pipe dream :) I wrote this in my feedback but i thought other people should see it.
