The Steak Et Frites, featuring hanger steak with hand-cut fries and peppercorn sauce, showcased the perfect balance of tenderness and bold flavors. The Moules Marinieres, steaming Carlsbad mussels in a broth of garlic, shallots, and white wine served with fries, was a seafood lover's dream. To cap off the culinary journey, we indulged in the Crème Brûlée – a decadent and perfectly caramelized dessert. The attentive service enhanced the overall experience, making it an ideal choice for a romantic date night. It's such a delight to return again & again! A tiny corner that brings the French arrondissements cuisine to S.D. La Bonne Table is well-known for their consistency and French authenticity. A delight with a true representation of traditional dishes. I love that its vibe lets you come as you are; fancy or buz-casual, but the no rush personal & intimate space let you feel like you're personally attended to.

La Bonne Table is a wonderful French restaurant, and my absolute favorite in San Diego. For starters was the a l'oignon, the entrée was the Cote de Porc Forestiere it was cooked to perfection, absolutely delicious They also have a plethora of wines, the Haut-La Pereyre is a must. Absolutely exquisite French cuisine, the very best in San Diego.

Very nice and classic French restaurant! It surprises us because it’s pretty tiny indoors with only 8 tables and several bar seats. But you don’t feel crowded and it’s very cozy. The foods here are very delicious. We ordered French Onion Soup and Escargot for appetizers, Duck Confit for Entree and Bread & Butter as a side. All of the foods are very good, I recommend them all. The cocktails are very nice as well. My husband had two glasses of French 75 and I had a Kir Royal, both are great.

We came here for San Diego Restaurant Week, and was glad we got to try a new place that was decent! The food was good. The steak was cooked perfectly. The duck confit was tender. The Crepes Suzette was interesting at first but ended up liking it. It's a tiny restaurant with only 20 seats inside. It's a very intimate setting. We didn't get to try too much of the wine because we went on a Monday and had work the next day. Maybe next time!

Very nice restaurant. Cozy vibe and nice service. Everything we ate was tasty. The duck stood out most, very moist. Escargot had great flavor. Steak frites highly recommended too. Cassoulet was very rich and flavorful. The food was rich and tasted great on a cold night. Crème brûlée for desert was really good.

Very good French restaurant wirh a great atmosphere and great service. The menu has something for everyone's taste. The drinks are delicious. This is the place you need to come to celebrate a special night. Thr onion soup is delicious!! My favorite French restaurant in HILLCREST!! Some parking close by on the streets.

Cozy french bistro with traditional french cuisine and a cute bar that you can dine at. The duck confit was perfectly executed with a crisp exterior and delectable, moist interior. Brussels sprouts were a nice accompaniment. The scalloped potatoes are very rich with lots of cream and butter. The fries were decent. Crepes suzette not bad but there are better choices on the menu. The french onion soup is very good with a flavorful beef based broth and plenty of sweet onions. The place is tiny so reservations are highly recommended.

Excellent place! Delicious, nice environment and superb service. Drinks are different and good. I tried the special that was a shank pork and it was soft, savory and right amount of sauce/broth. We had paté as entrance and it was a genuine flavor, feeling the authenticity of a home made paté. The place is nice, small and makes you feel welcome and comfy. For dessert we had the Crepes Suzette and they were out of regular. Not super sweet, but very balanced. I enjoyed every bite. I definitely will come back here.
