Pueblo

From the outside looking in it looked very elegant and nice but once inside it's a mass of chatter and some tables even yelling to just have a simple conversation. It's an open atrium, so naturally that allows flying critters to accompany your meal. You could not have a nice quiet dinner. The menu has limited gluten free options but some are available but as with any place the possibility of cross contamination is always a possibility. Our server was very polite and knowledgeable with the menu options. Food was slow to come out but tasted very good.

My girl and I decided to spend the night out in Pacific Beach and we couldn't start drinking and dancing without filling our bellies up. We were in the mood for Seafood and decided on Pueblo. It was a beautiful San Diego evening so we sat outside by the Patio Heater. The vibe was excellent. The service was great and the pricing was average for restaurant eating. We both enjoyed the Lobster Tail dish. Yummy! It was the perfect way to start a night out. We will be back to try some of the other dishes. 10 out of 10, I recommend!

Food was good, service was slow and not great and the restaurant itself was cool...but with the open windows there were a lot of flies. Overall this is a cool place to come after a day at the beach - but I wouldn't advise coming for a special occasion or for a nice date night. The prices are set for those type of things - but I'd say it is really more of a nice Rubio's type of dinner.

So sometimes I go to places that are just conveniently wherever I am and I need to pick up some food real quick. Because let me tell you I got some picky children! This was the case for this Restaurant Pueblo. I didn't have much faith in it, as it just looked like another trendy Mexican restaurant... BUT... turns out I am greatly and pleasantly surprised. They had excellent customer service and phenomenal Fresh Mexican food. My son asked me if this was what real Mexican food tasted like because it was different than before. I told him not all restaurants are created equal you have to really put passion and love into the food that's why it tastes so good. I will make sure to patronize Pueblo more often. Very reasonable prices and the atmosphere and the staff were delightful.

We had a truly wonderful time at Pueblo. The food was amazing - we especially enjoyed the seafood enchiladas and the tacos. Then, the cocktails were truly next-level! The paloma was delicious, and my friends said the margaritas were some of the best they have ever had. Then, let's go to service! Alli was our server - she was exceedingly responsive and fun. One of my favorite things at a restaurant is when the Executive Chef comes out to talk to guests. Well, we had that experience with Angel. His visit to our table was the perfect capstone to our night. Highly recommended.

Nice Mexican fusion cuisine in Pacific Beach Area. We all had strong drinks. Braised Short Rib Empanadas tasted as well as they looked. Had the Chicken Enchiladas with Mole sauce. Although it was good the corn tortillas slightly overpowered the mole sauce. Also had chicken tacos and Chile releno mix. Service was fast and good. Seems like they allow dogs in the outside area.

On vacation in SD and stumbled upon this place. The drinks and food were amazing, the atmosphere was lovely (great patio seating), and the service was perfect (thank you, nice waiter guy I forgot to get the name of, for answering my request for suggestions on so many things lol). I’ll definitely stop by here again next trip!
