Amazing fresh food and good location as it's inside the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. I had a wonderful breakfast at Vela.

Easy to find. The decor is a little dated, but the food makes up for it. Our waiter was great until he got many tables. He was still attentive, but not what you'd expect at a restaurant like this. The sunset can be watched from the outdoor seating.

I would lile to give honor where honor is due, i don't know how often chefs are recognized or promoted, but i would like to send a big thank you to Chef Miguel, who gave exceptional service going above and beyond. May God continue to bless you and the Hilton Staff.

Went there for the parade of lights, not the best view to see the parade but still enjoyable. Food was ok, not that great for the price. The upstairs bar is better in terms of food and atmosphere.

Definitely request a table on the patio. No one ate outside so I was alone out there, with beautiful weather and incredible view. I recommend the Create Your Own Omelet. I had grilled peppers, Guyere, sharp cheddar, and spinach two days in a row. Delish.

This is a professional breakfast venue. There is an open buffet as well as a regular menu. I had eggs and rye toast with coffee. The service was good, and the food was good. If you have a long day ahead of you and a fast start, this is it.

I was skeptical at firstbut they proved to be worth every penny, ... We had a fish dish "Spaghetti Allo Scoglio" with shrimps, mussels, swordfish, and grouper. That was really delicious.... and then we had a Prime Ribeye Steak with truffled butter... Prices are steep, the wine list is pretty good for a hotel restaurant. We spent almost 200 bucks without tips.
