Starlite Lounge

We had an amazing date night! Easy to find parking, service was wonderful, drinks and food came quickly - we were in and out within an hour. I know it’s basic but the burger here is fantastic!!! So flavorful and didn’t leave me feeling sluggish. It’s a small place but the Ambience is beautiful, very dimly lit and relaxing. I literally have no complaints.

Place had a swanky and very cool vibe. I would’ve surely loved it had they had a seat at the bar. Don’t get me wrong there was plenty of space at the bar. Just no seats left. Which was weird. Since it was a bar for super short folks or people who like to sit on the floor or people lucky enough to have a seat, I had no other option than to beat feet to the next purveyor of fine spirits.

Great little spot. Wonderful generous mule. Scotch egg was perfectly cooked. Pan friend chicken had a great crunchy skin. Kale Cesar was not to miss as well. Way to go the extra mile with the anchovies. Atmosphere is straight up old school san diego and not to be missed. Same high end service normally found at downtown bars. Swing by and have a fee drinks and bite to eat you won't be disappointed.

Phenomenal experience. I can not wait to go back. The food was too die for but what was even better was the service at bar.Our bartender was one of the best I’ve ever had. I can not wait to go back. The burger that everyone raves about is just. The sausage is omg amazing. The Judori chicken wings are WOW. I loved the Mac and cheese and side of fries. The inside of this place is so lovely. The chandelier is a perfect centerpiece. We also enjoyed the ice cream sando. I’LL TAKE 30 of these!

I like the aesthetic here. The exterior is very mid century and I like the dark interior with the lights over the bar. I dont really understand the chairs though, they look like patio furniture and don't really match. Anyway, the drinks were excellent, especially Drifters Gold. We got the salami and cheese board with added bone marrow. I'm really into their pickled vegetables. Very tasty. We also tried the stone fruit salad and mac and cheese both were decent. Service was attentive. I'd definitely come back to try some other cocktails at the bar.

Such a hidden gem!!!! We were seated immediately and the waiter was very attentive started us with drinks and appetizers right away. I truly wish I remembered his name to give a huge thank you for the excellent service. These 5 stars are for you. We didn’t know what the bone marrow was and our waiter did a phenomenal job explaining with close detail to every question that we had. We had the pan roasted chicken and the hamburger both dishes were absolutely delicious I highly recommend both. The decor gave such an elegant feel to the restaurant perfect for date night. I am glad we gave this place a chance I do not regret it and will be back soon!
