The primary reason I came to the Toronado was because they have Pliney the Elder (pictured) by Russian River on tap, one of the highest rated craft beers in the nation. The atmosphere is layered with tradition and local history. Music was the best out of all the venues I visited on Saturday night.

Divey spot with a great beer selection. Tap list was exceptional. While I did not order any bottles, the bottles list looked great too. The new food menu looks and tastes great. Cans and small bottles of wine for those less than enthused about their stellar craft beer selection.

A fantastic stop for any avid beer fan. Toronado consistently has a solid tap list featuring local breweries and other great beers from near and far. In addition to their tap list, they also have a solid bottle selection if you are looking to enjoy something on the rare side of things.
Plenty of awesome things around too if you want to make multiple stops on the way.

Toronado has long been one of my favorite spots to try new brews. No frills, comfortable atmosphere, and friendly service make a great spot to grab a beer or two. Although I've been here many times the extensive tap list never ceases to amaze me.

A place every true beer conousir must visit Hands down one of the best consistent beer selections in San Diego. In many ways a better variant of the SF original. They have an outdoor back patio. Their kitchen comes through in a clutch with really good food. There is also a ton great restaurants very close by.

One of my favorite beer bars in San Diego. Can be intimidating if you don't know your craft beer, but they have an excellent selection as well as rare beers you can't get anywhere else. Great happy hour deals on Monday $4 local beers. Lots of space now with new expansion makes this a cozy place to chill with a drink.

Excellent beer selection as can be expected. I went here for dinner once and got one of their massive burgers. I was a little disappointed because the burger was so big but lacked some flavor. Definitely filled me up though. They have great weekly deals here as well. Has a dive bar feel to it.

A very good beer bar to try out local and non SD beers. Always rotating a good selection. A solid bottle selection as well. Knowledgeable staff if you have any questions. Can get quite busy on the weekends so plan ahead. The food is also quite delicious, I recommend the steak and mac and cheese options. A must go to when in North Park.
