Konito's Cafe

11/10: first time here and came based on the reviews stating large portions. Looking at my plate, that is an accurate description. Ordered the Big Breakfast #2 and would say very good and filling. The French toast wasn’t bad except they use wheat bread I think, definitely not white. This place reminds me of Pipes in Cardiff by the Sea, and about a buck or two less than Pipes. Plenty of outdoor seating if you eat early. I’d come back for the daily specials. Not table service which is exactly what I look for these days.

A simple, no-frills eatery on the eastern edge of Pacific Beach that has a range of scrambles, burritos, and more. I’ve never been disappointed by portion, quality, or service at Konito’s. Come hungry—the servings are healthy and you will leave stuffed. For ~$12 you can have a coffee and a filling home-style cooked breakfast. Definitely a good spot for take away or for chowing down with your crew. The salsas are also delicious, especially the green. Nothing negative to say about Konito’s!

Ordered 3 breakfast burrito #3’s and added sausage to it…very nice portion size! Asked to split in half, which was still enough to satisfy 12, 15, and 18 year olds. Provided plenty of green and red salsas. The green was nice flavor with medium spice. Red salsa was mild and great flavor. The employees were nice and service was speedy. The atmosphere is very so cal vibes. Small seating area to dine inside. Also have a patio area which additional seating.

You know you will wait in line because it is a great value and fast service. Don't worry the line goes fast and there are plenty of tables outside and inside. Get your Large or big breakfast and know you won't walk away hungry. I had The Big Breakfast with french toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, cheesy potatoes & English muffins...Wow that's alot of food!! If you want to wait in a really long line then go to there PB Boardwalk location "Kono's Cafe" with the same great food!

It is tucked in the corner of a Vons and Petco shopping plaza. Good menu selection but the food is utterly void of seasoning; it tastes okay and cooked well but no-seasons. The to-go cups of salsa: Red salsa is sweet, green salsa is hot. Salsa cups, cream, milk, etc are in the micro-fridge on the table. The coffee is strong.

Order at counter and then either wait at counter for food or they bring it all to the table. Plenty of parking in the plaza lot. Friendly staff. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. Large portion sizes at affordable pricing. All the dishes ordered were delicious and fresh tasting. Staff do make quick work of taking orders and delivering.
