Good outdoor experience. Food okay, some great dishes. Service spotty..we were a large group. I've been here many times.

Nice little restaurant in a quiet community. There is not much other restaurants in the area.
The outdoor seating is lovely. The day we went was cloudy but it will be much prettier on a sunny day.
Service is good, everyone is friendly and welcoming.
We tried original cheeseburger and shawarma and they are both good. We will try their Pizza next time.
The price is on the higher side, not for everyday.

First time here. Had brunch. The Bacon and Cheese & Spinach scrambled were very good. Portions were generous. The chicken schwarma was very good too.

Yum, I came to this restaurant with family so good but this year I tried something new I invited my old aid we both had humburgers with fries ( couldn't resist) the view was beautiful the food is good . #love it

owner is there and active. vine is fun and chill. when we rolled up the first impression is EVERYONE in the neighborhood comes here and LOVES it. waiters all worked together as a team. kids had max n cheese and loved it. I had the fajita plate and you better too. it was perfect. and they have this green spicy sauce. BEST tasting hot sauce ever. GO TO THIS RESTAURANT! :)

Amazing food. This place is tucked into an office park and is very unassuming from the outside. We were pleasantly surprised by their food. We got the shashuka, the chicken shwarma and the lamb chops and they were all perfectly cooked and seasoned well. Amazing brunch, will be back!

The Outcast Grill is and has been our neighborhood place in University City for the past 7-8 years. They have a wonderful Mediterranean themed menu with great prices, friendly service, hard working, polite young folks working here and a nice selection of cold San Diego craft beers and local wine. Appetizers are grest. Sunday Brunch is a must; I attend again and again.

Great little spot in San Diego’s University City neighborhood. We went for brunch and the bacon benedict and breakfast burrito (added carne asada) were both amazing! Great outdoor area with plenty of room to enjoy. No liquor, but beer and champagne with brunch:). Friendly and fast service. Great spot if you’re in the UC area of SD!

Sat outside on the garden patio for dinner. Prompt service, friendly staff, and great food. Really liked they way they cooked their pita bread. Had their Shakshuka for the first time, which was good. Plenty of seating and easy to find at night with all the hanging lights.

Super cute patio and some of the best hummus in town. Dog friendly and they always have a good selection of craft beer. The shawarma will give you a 2nd meal for sure. Don't pass this place up!
