This place should be 4.5*. Been coming here for years and the quality is the best I've tried in Del Mar. Another great visit today!

We ate so much sushi I can’t move. Everything was delicious, the specialty rolls were stuffed. Service was fast and friendly. Nice vibe inside.

Delicious food, but more notable was the absolutely perfect atmosphere. Relaxing without feeling lifeless, slightly dim but not dark, jazz. I would have had a positive opinion even if I hadn't liked the food. Whoever designed it has excellent taste!

I got takeout sushi for my birthday and it was all amazing. The portions were huge and I ordered so much food that unfortunately even eating some leftovers I didn’t get to eat it all. The baked scallops sushi was especially amazing and I loved the lemon roll also. Can’t wait to go back and try more! I even got a bottle of sake to go!

We make the drive to Carmel Valley for their Sushi rolls and Bento. Always consistent, always good. The variety of lunch specials and daily rolls keep us coming back.

This place wasn't bad at all but the sushi is warm?? (Not eel) and the quality is overall mediocre. I liked their tempura was quite crispy but their soba was slightly slimy. Not bad but the environment and food felt very "lukewarm?"

Dine in and takeout is excellent. They have a huge menu, but i like to keep it simple with avocado rolls, California rolls , and 1 of their excellent specialty rolls. They have one of the best drink specials in all of Carmel valley, 2 beers + house sake 🍶 for under 10 dollars. I like to sit at the sushi bar and chat it up with the sushi chefs. Tony and Juan are my favorite, both very nice. Prices are reasonable . Family owned . This is my favorite local spot.

Very good. Lots of options on the menu and everything was delicious and quick. We had hand rolls and rice-less rolls aside from specialty rolls and all of them were fantastic. Will definitely be coming back!
