Simsim Outstanding Shawarma

I had a simple garlic chicken and a spicy chicken shwarma with fries. The fries were perfect. The spicy chicken was good. The garlic was a good surprise when I found a whole pickle spear in it, that's a new one for me, but really enjoyed it. Staff was friendly and place is clean. I should have only ordered one shwarma as two was too many.

🗿outdoor seating available🗿 Very tasty. Very fresh. Very fair prices! After a full day at the San Diego Zoo, my boyfriend and I ate dinner here on the patio! We really enjoyed it! 😁 We were very surprised by how inexpensive the meal was! 🪴The interior is very modern and reminds me of a Mediterranean chipotle 🤩 Their protein bowls are very filling, we couldn’t even finish our food! MUST TRY: The baklava 😍 definitely not like when my friend made some homemade baklava, but a close second! HIGHLY recommend! Peep the photos for some good food! 👀

Excellent and clean Middle Eastern food, served with love and warmth. Lots of choices on the menu and the prices are more than fair. Chef Abrahim's friendly and engaging personality helps answer any questions customers might have and checks to see that your order is to your liking. This place serves Americanized version of Mediterranean food. The food is flavourful, fresh ingredients and good variety of options in the menu. The interior decor is thought fully beautiful. They have pomegranate as a topping, adds a sweet kick on everything. Arabic rice is full of flavor. Falafel is crunchy on outside and well cooked inside. Their Spicy dressing is not that spicy. If you are craving for spicy sauce , they don't have any :( .

It was like eating the healthiest chicken and beef shawarma. Even the hummus tasted super healthy. It was a different taste for me. I guess I might be used to the shawarma and hummus from your local hole in the wall spot but this place was like eating the healthy version. Just a slightly different taste from what I expected but still yet it was ok. The place is nice inside and out, clean and they take time plating the food which a great presentation.

This place is just fantastic! The service is great and the food is just mouth watering. This was my first time going but I will be a regular customer in no time. I got the Spicy Meat shawarma and the flavors were breath taking. The meat was fresh and the different sauces just enhanced the flavor. The side dishes were all also wonderful I recommend the Moutabel.

Had a nice clean chicken, rice, and bulgar plate today at SimSim. I like the variety of sauces to choose from. The service is uplifting and the ambience is bright and refreshing. The complimentary hot tea available for before or after your meal is also a nice touch. I’ll have to come back to try some of the other menu offerings.

This was such a treat! They serve shawarma in new and creative ways. The lamb meat is cooked on a rotating grill (gyros style) and is super tender and tasty. They offer different fillings and we tried the creative and the daring shawarma sandwiches, both were delicious with surprising tastes in every bite. I also tried the house lemonade with hibiscus which also was great! They have a "Halal certified" displayed. Highly recommend this place.

In one word, Outstanding! All the ingredients tasted so fresh and it reminded me of when I used to live in the middle east. The decor is inviting, modern and bright. Staff was extremely well trained and friendly. My favorite was the simsim with chicken shawarma and pomegranate. This is definitely going to be a regular spot for me and my family.
