Better Buzz Coffee Roasters

Coffee selections and flavors were amazing. There were 3 coffees we wanted to try so we got all 3. Cinnamon Cream Cold Brew, Snickerdoodle Latte, Best Drink Ever. Enjoyed each one. Would 100% go back if I’m in San Diego again. Such a cute location too, the interior is pretty without being pretentious.

I would definitely say this is one of the better coffee joints in Hillcrest. Great seating, great food. Great drinks staff is friendly and fast. I would say the only negative about this place is the parking. Of course, all of Hill crest has the same parking issues. So that's why I don't take off for this review. Because it is norm for the area.

A delightful breakfast experience! Starting with the Caprese made Jain-style without onion and garlic shows the café's flexibility and dedication to accommodating different dietary preferences. Their Hazelnut Divinity coffee is probably a wonderful indulgence with its nutty sweetness complementing the robust coffee flavor. Pairing it with an Orange Matcha Latte demonstrates blended the earthy tones of matcha with the zesty brightness of orange. A coffee place with a nice vibe can really enhance the enjoyment of the meal. A welcoming atmosphere, with comfortable seating, pleasing decor, contributed to making our breakfast visit quite enjoyable.

Better Buzz has good coffee. They also have food. Because of this, they can get busy. Can make it a challenge to park. Inside, Better buzz is a nice place and very welcoming to sit and enjoy. It as also a good place to go while your CSS-2 EV is charging less than a block away. There are 4 chargers available by the Bank of America.

Rating adjusted for any kind of chain coffee shop but avocado toast was well seasoned, bread not too hard, nothing fancy but definitely good if you wanted something more light/healthy. Price is $10 which is a lot but what you'd expect these days for places like this. Got the orange matcha which was way too sweet (comes pre-sweeteend) but the barista steamed some more milk for me to dilute it. Can't taste the orange though so not that impressive. Otherwise atmosphere is good for studying. Plenty of seating so no pressure to move on. No outlets though so plan ahead. Bring headphones cause does get traffic but also great people watching. Parking is limited so prepare for it!
