Edo Sushi

I had a very good experience here after an enjoyable bicycle ride on Memorial Day. It was my first time here so I have not had the opportunity to taste any of their many menu offerrings besides what I ordered. Many of them look and sound appetizing. Despite usually avoiding rainbow rolls at many sushi restaurants because of the similarities and not too much variance; I could not help but be drawn to their Smoked Rainbow Roll. I have never had a smoked rainbow roll before, and it was smokingly flavorful! And that is not an overstatement because I was hungry after my bicycle ride, nor me not ordering a rainbow roll in a long time. I was very impressed by its smokiness, which is accomplished primarily I believe by the smoked mackerel shavings. It had a good amount of shavings nicely littering the top of the rainbow roll, and the sushi was fresh. It was a surprisingly good combination that I did not expect, but am glad I did. Being on the half off menu had no impact in scoring major browny points for me, but it was easy on the wallet which was nice. They do have several other sushi roll selections available in the half off menu. I also had the tonkatsu meal during my visit. The breading was a golden brown, crisply crunchy, and the pork tender. Friendly service and a relative calm ambiance also contributed for a very good and memorable experience on Memorial Day. Though I do not think it is necessary for you to check this place out on Memorial Day to have a memorable experience. Any day of the week throughout the year should work;)

Very tasty food. And their rolls are big. Bigger than the normal size you see everywhere else. Their 50%off sushi rolls are very good deal! Try their Unagi bowl(eel) , you won't disappointed. And the service also amazing. The drink and food comes up very fast. Overall, it's definitely a place to have decent sushi if you're in UTC area.

I've been here 3 times now and have been very happy with everything I've ordered. The service is great and staff is attentive. Food comes out promptly and sushi is delicious. My particular favorite dishes are the grilled salmon bento and the catapiller roll, the spicy hamachi hand roll, and assorted sushi pieces. The fish is fresh.

We ordered quite a lot and everything was great. My favorite was unagi and tempura, but the rainbow roll was very good as well. Staff was attentive and friendly and very patient with both my very hard of hearing grandma and three year old who were making a lot of noise. Lunch time gets busy but there is a quick turn around. Will definitely go back.

Great prices and happy hour. The sushi chefs are friendly and give away free samples to everyone. I used to go there all the time when I lived across the street. I still stop by when I am in the area. It is a small more intimate neighborhood place with local residents or people who work nearby. Sometimes the servers are not that great so I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
