Mi Ranchito

Husband and I were on a small trip for my birthday. On our way from pala casino to la Jolla we stumbled upon this gem and we are so glad we did. From the moment we came in we were warmly greeted by who I'm assuming was the owner. He was so nice and friendly, let us know what the special was (lobster enchiladas), and we were sold. I ordered the Red chilaquiles and everything was so delicious. The waitress was also super friendly and attentive. Customers kept coming in and they knew everyone by name and I was very impressed by the management, food, and atmosphere. They even gifted us delicious dessert and handed us water for the road. I 100% recommend this wonderful place and we will definitely be back. Thank you for making my birthday extra special and memorable with such amazing service.

Didn't know this was here and drove by it for years. I ordered online and picked it up within 15 minutes. I was greeted by the owner I believe and she knew my name immediately and was very friendly. I ordered the fish burrito but I think next time I will try the lobster or the carne asada burritos. Very clean and friendly atmosphere!

It's been a long time since I've rated a restaurant but I had to rate this place. I eat lunch at a lot of places all around San Diego county and this place really stands out as one of the best places I've been. I was having a hard time deciding what to get because everything sounded so good. I decided to go with the Friday special lobster enchiladas on the recommendation of the owners. The food was absolutely delicious and the customer service was top notch. One of the most important things for a good Mexican restaurant is the salsa and this place did not disappoint. Whenever I am in the area, I will definitely be back.

got to say, the reviews lived up to the hype. the surf and turf was excellent, the lady who helped us out was super helpful and nice, and the salsa bar was nice. my only complaint was that the prices on the online order website (was trying to look at the menu ahead of time) seemed to be cheaper than in person. will be back for sure

Great place to get a burrito or tacos. The lady taking orders is very friendly, attentive and mindful of the guests. The food is delicious. There is a handful of salsa available (mild, medium, spicy) as well as some peppers, they have a fountain drink option, and the food does not take long to come out.

The food was excellent and the service was even better. They were patient with us taking our time to order in our first visit. And they threw in free drinks and brought us a free dessert after we ate. The food came out quickly and hot. The rolled tacos were exceptional. Highly recommend stopping for quick carry out or to sit down with your family.
