S3 Coffee Bar

Best coffee I've ever had. I got the Mexican mocha espresso and my wife got the dirty Chai latte. Both were perfectly balanced with just the right amount of everything. Good sizes portions for price. I will be going back to try an Americano or cappuccino to see how their coffee stacks on its own. 10/10 would reccomended.

Absolutely adore this place! The coffee and tea are both exceptional and so delicious. My go-to is the Mexican Mocha Hot—it's my favorite! When I'm in the mood for something different, I opt for the Lavender Latte, which is not only delicious but also comes adorned with lavender petals, adding a cute touch. If I'm after a refreshing drink, the summer tea, when available, is flavorful and not just watery. While their chocolate banana bread is tasty, it's a tad pricey for a single slice.

This place is awesome! I recently discovered it and have been going a lot. They make their iced lattes really good and all the employees are super nice! The place is very well decorated and has a really cool vibe. There is also a lot of seating (maybe too few outlets but I can live with that). My only criticism is that the music is far too loud; I understand they're trying to go for a vibe but a lot of people study here (including me) and it's a bit hard to focus. I feel like one of the main demographics of coffee shops, especially those 5 minutes away from college campuses, are students. Some light music is fine but if you want a coffee shop to study at you may want to look elsewhere. But I definitely recommend S3!!

This place is the cutest! It is woman owned, and it has so many great opportunities for pictures. They have so many drink options, I promise you'll want to keep coming back for more. I had the lavender London fog, and it was soooo good. Good London fogs are hard to come by, and usually lavender in drinks tastes like perfume, but they did so right by these two strong flavors. The flavors balanced each other out, and I have nothing but good things to say. I didn't try any of the lunch options, but I'll definitely be coming back for them. All in all, a great experience!

Not only is their coffee and food phenomenal, but so is their service! I’ve been greeted with 5-star service every time. You need someone to make your day? Stop by here for a daily affirmation. But in all seriousness, their coffee, drinks, and food do not disappoint. It’s so hard to choose ONE drink. I want them all! My top favorites are the honey rose latte and the Lavender London fog. I love the subtle floral taste.

I was browsing through Yelp seeking a new coffee shop in the area and stumbled upon S3 Coffee Bar in San Diego, California. I can see why everyone was raving about this place; the vibes were great and the interior decor was really cool, nothing I've ever seen before. Moreover, the staff was friendly and everyone seemed to be in a great mood which was great to see considering it was a gloomy morning. I wanted to try their signature Iced Vanilla Lavender Latte and it did not disappoint. A really delicious Vanilla Latte and the note of Lavender in the coffee was a new experience for me, and I weirdly enjoyed it. I can't speak on their food, but considering how they make their lattes, it ought to be good. They have a Drive Thru window for any of those that want to grab a delicious latte at S3. Will definitely be bringing my girlfriend here when she visits ~ Brandt
