Working Class

Stopped by Working Class for a quick dinner and enjoyed the experience. It was chilly outside so we chose to sit inside and followed the sign that said to seat yourself. We were quickly approached by our wait person who greeted us and dropped off a couple of waters to sip on while we looked at the online menus. Working Class has an extensive beer menu and a good size food menu with a variety of foods to choose from. Tonight I ordered the spicy meatball sandwich and my partner ordered the Working Class Burger. For an additional six dollars you can add a side and a half pint. We both chose to go that route. The food came out hot and tasty - both of us said we would order the same again if given the opportunity. The service was great - prompt and friendly without being overbearing. The vibe is casual with some music playing in the background inside while sports were on all the tv’s. Outside on the patio the sound to the sports was on for those that wanted to concentrate on the game.

This has been my and my sister's go to spot for a few years now so this review is long overdue. Let's start by saying that this is one of the few spots left in North Park that is priced fairly. The food is amazing, it never dissapoints. I recommend the american breakfast, the chicken and waffles and the biscuits and gravy, that gravy is devine. We have also been here for dinner and they have great burgers, fries and the buffalo wings. Oh, those wings are probably one of the best wings I ever had. They also have great beer and ciders. Their seating is comfortable both indoors and outoors. Service has been excellent 90 percent of time. The only questionable experience I had was with a mac in cheese I ordered which tasted burnt and a coffee which we had to send back 2-3 times because it was lukewarm. With the mac n cheese incident, our server apologized and didn't charge me as I only took a spoonful. With the coffee incident, it took a little more as our server kept bringing lukewarm coffee. Fortunately, a female waitress stepped in and made it right after she saw the frustration in our face. When you are a coffee lover, one of the worst things is lukewarm coffee, specially if you add half n half because that little liquid will make the coffee cold in no time. This being said, we love this place and will continue to come here!

The staff is so kind, attentive and mindful. I really appreciate the level of attention that goes into seating people to ensure it’s never too crowded (especially during game days in the back patio). I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The onion rings are amazing and there’s always good beer options. Nice happy hour too!

My kids ordered the breakfast burrito, chicken fried sandwich, and my husband and I ordered the standard breakfast and everything was tasty. My son ordered the Table sandwich that wasn’t very substantial and he was still hungry afterwards. I guess we should’ve ordered sides for everyone. My daughter's service dog got a bowl of water which was nice. One hiccup was the restaurant required us to only sit in the front or back patio because of our service dog even though she's a golden doodle and is less likely to cause allergic reactions. I would know since our whole family except for my husband is allergic to dogs.

Outdoor dining on the back patio with the nice space between others. Very kind service, fast service, fantastic food and beer. Would definitely recommend. January of last year they had THE best delivery deal that was such a bargain! Their prices are in house are fantastic, $9.50 for a solid burger? All day. Love this spot.

I’d give it a 3.75 Love: Doughy bun. Great pickle and plenty on the burger. 2 kinds of cheese. Don’t love: Meat under seasoned. Couldn’t taste the onions really. Price: $11 Rec Level: Decent burger, could see why people like it. Just not a returner for me. Tip: Sauce has a slight kick if you don’t like that.
