The best smoked salmon and tasty sweet potato fries! Dawn was a very friendly and attentive server. --Tonight my wife and I had a craving for smoked salmon sandwiches. Boll Weevil didn't disappoint us. Friendly service and excellent smoked salmon once again! Their burgers are also good and they have containers of relish, onions, pickles, and peppers, along with condiments on all of the tables. Always fast and friendly service!

Nice cozy little hamburger place with a San Diego family tradition behind it. We held our Fantasy Football draft there this year. The waitress was friendly and treated us very well. Nice old style comfort food in a relaxing venue.

I live boll weevil! My parents took me to one for the first time when I was a wee pup and i lived it since! The burgers are delicious but the best part for me are the fries. They taste great by themselves but i just love drenching them in ketchup and their "secret" sauce. I just don't go to the one in lemon grove. I had a bad experience there that turned me away from that location but this one is great. Friendly service and attentive. Also, check out the weevil burger on fletcher parkway. They have the same menu just had to change the name because of reasons.

The best places for burgers. If you want a fancy style burger try Slater's 50/50. Not talking trash. This is the best burger for burger people available. Only in the half pound variety though. You can't get a better patty. I love supporting these small restaurants. Gotta keep then going strong!

Visited this restaurant for a fundraiser during Black History Month. There was a gallery set up with pictures and artifacts along with the food. They had a special Southern soul menu of chicken, baked or fried, salmon, macaroni and cheese, greens, corn bread and a drink. I have eaten there before and the food is pretty good. The service is usually good with friendly wait staff.

Great service, good atmosphere and overall great food!!! I have always liked their hamburgers and today they didn't disappointed me at all.

the Burger's are awesome the taste is unique. The best part is that you can put your own ingredients on the burger because they have everything on the table so you don't have to tell the person what you want.

The burger was phenomenal! It had been some time since I had eaten there. I will definitely be going back soon. Our waitress was great. She was funny and really attended to our needs.

You know you'll get a great tasting burger here. Fries always hot and fresh. My personal favorite is their chili. The only reason I did give a five star rating is because their condiment trays always feel grimey; they should wipe down frequently.
