So sad they're closing in 6 months! If you haven't, you should. It's a family run diner that has been operating on the corner in an ever changing downtown for decades. We like to stop in for a cheap bfast and have coffee at the counter remembering the way things used to be..... and how those days and places like these will be long gone.

Usually the other lady, who is very talkative and friendly is not here today. So I got this older lady who i have never seen, and told me that I have enough cream for my coffee, when I asked for more, and before she poured my coffee, I asked for halfway full of coffee and she ended filling it all the way to the top, which made me furious. So today it was only the service, the food was great and I always like the eggs here. Update: I love this place, edit was on 12/01/2019 I always go for the pork chops and eggs. She also calls me Chillon lol.

33 yrs ago, on my days off from driving for Yellow Cab Company...( yeah, they had female drivers back then!), I would stop in the cafe + order my Spanish omelet w lots of salsa. The lady working there was so nice, I felt like family. The prices were great + also the food. But the atmosphere was the greatest.
