Punch Bowl Social San Diego

I didn't get to stay and enjoy the games this time, but for our work holiday luncheon it was perfect. Beautiful space. Fun atmosphere and tasty food. It was pretty quiet for a lunch day in the middle of the week. But when a bunch of us were trying to figure out how to take our photo at the photo booth, one of the staff was kind enough to help us out.

Would definitely recommend this place. However when I went in with small group of co workers we went to the bar to order drinks. As someone who works in the industry I always have my ID Ready. So when I asked the bar tender if she needed to see it she said yes no problem there at all. However when my co worker who is older asked if he needed to show his and she replied yes. My coworker said "oh really? Sure!" He was his chipper self. One of the staff members there out of no where as my coworker was working on pulling out his ID said "just show her your ID that's it" and try to look at my coworker as if he was trying to intimidate him...my coworker responded and said "no I am. I'm just happy someone asked me for it. It's been a while" the employee stared at him and walked away mean mugging.. it was one time and I'm sure that employee isnt normally like that but still... gotta maintain a good customer service.

Fun place for group gatherings, good was surprisingly good for bar fare, nachos, chicken and waffles, and even the salad was really healthy with grilled shrimp. Service was a bit slow though, for our private party, especially considering we were supposed to have two people just for us. And no regular sparkling water on menu, weird?!

My husband and I stopped here on a whim on a Saturday night and it was an awesome experience! Huge place with so much to do! Service was great and so were the food and drinks. We absolutely loved the skillet pull apart roll!! We were there during their Halloween party and the DJ they had for it was so good too!

First time at PBS in San Diego, and I had an awesome time. Our server had the best energy, and the food was great. Everything came out in a timely matter. Angel, the floor manager, checked on us, which showed exceptional customer service. Keep up the outstanding work, and I look forward to eating here again next time I'm in San Diego.

The waiter that took my order left for the day and I had to go back to kitchen to ask for it. Really a lot potential. It is a classic case of being comfortable and getting lazy, a bunch machines need maintenance. They probably make a lot money and feel they do not need to improve, so sad how everywhere is doing that. There is always room for improvement no matter who or what you are. Fix that place up a little and it would be way better.

Had Brussels, wings, a burger, loaded fries. Brussels are definitely a must, nice crispy sweet & savory. The cilantro wings were not crispy, didn't have much flavor so I'd probably pass on it for next time. The bison fries were also very crispy and loaded evenly. The knockoff burger is a solid burger. Drinks were all pretty good, I liked the mezcal drink didn't have too much of a smoky taste but otherwise was very refreshing. Service was very slow. Felt like the waitress was taking on more than she could handle but was otherwise a very friendly.
