Subway

Kai Wen did a great job. It was extremely busy and his co-worker Daisy did absolutely nothing to help him. Unbelievably, despite there being a line and several to go orders, she ignored all of the customers and made her own food. Then, she left. It was awful to see such a poor work ethic. Kai Wen, on the other hand, worked hard to make all the orders and help the customers. He should be promoted. She should be asked to find a new job.

I am writing this review in mind of the poor employees who had to deal with a belligerent woman today. These are stressful times and patience is needed. Owen did a great job doing as best he could. As a resident here for years, I never witnessed someone cause THE worst scene in subway, so much cops were called and they realized she was full of it. All the other customers remained called as she filmed herself trying to get a reaction. I pray the manager and employee know there are only a few bad apples out there and continue to do the best they can.

We ordered a salad yesterday morning and after we placed the order I called this Sub Way to ask for the salad dressing be put on the side as I was unable to locate an "instruction" tab to add that info when ordering. I also asked for extra lettuce and spinach. I told told "no problem." The salad was the worst quality and quantity we have ever received. There was BARELY any lettuce or spinach and it appeared that a small handful of all other ingredients requests were literally thrown in to the salad bowl in piles.... UGH - It was a very very small salad. AND we had a couple for a free 20 oz Free Drink with this purchase. We were told that the coupon was not valid unless we walked in and ordered in person.... However no where ono the coupon does it say that info it says "Redeemable at participating restaurants" and you would think during this Pandemic on-line orders would be preferred. This was a very disappointing visit................ and we frequent Sub Way A Lot ....

THE WIRST SUBWAY IN SAN DIEGO! AVOID AT ALL COST. Clearly very poor ownership, does not care about the consumers in this area. IF they get your sandwich right (which they never do with online orders) it takes 30 minutes for a sandwich. They don’t answer the phone, so you can’t call. One or two people only during lunch rush.

I used to love this Subway but I have noticed a significant drop in the quality and "freshness" of the produce, especially the lettuce and tomatoes which have a very dull coloration to them as if they're old. The lettuce has a bad consistency when you bite into it, again, just not fresh. I've had issues with their credit card terminal not working and an employee having their manager tell them to sweep something in the back even though I was up in line ready to order, she started sweeping while I just stood there, I left. I don't know what happened to "eat fresh" but it's gone. This location's reputation is about as good as Jared's.
