Primitive Smoke Bbq

I used to love this place. Menu and food are very different now. I think it has a new owner who knows nothing about barbeque. The pulled pork was saturated in their sauce of choice. Seriously guys, most people prefer to choose their own heat and amount of sauce. The sides were tasteless, and the best ones are now gone from the menu. Won't be back.

Only reason they get 2 stars is because I didn't actually get food. When you call the number to speak to someone, it's a personal cell phone. That's not a big deal, but the way I was spoken to IS a big deal. There's no element of customer service. The only reason he told me that this WAS the company line is because I asked if it was the BBQ place. He answered the phone with a VERY cold "Hi". Here's how our conversation went verbatim, "Hi....Hello, is this primitive BBQ?.....Yes. ..... Can I place an order for delivery? ....... No...we are closed Monday and Tuesday. Ok it says you're open. ... Ok bye." He's supposedly verified for his Google profile. Not sure how or when they're actually open. Seems questionable. Always call ahead, but don't expect a courteous explanation of anything. Expect to be spoken to like an inconvenience. I won't be trying this place after today and my husband and I will tell everyone about our experience.
