This place is really nice. The servers are friendly. There's no wait. It is cozy. The place is always clean. They are quick both to take care of you and to get the order ready at your table. Food is delicious as well. The best is that it is quiet even with the TV on. Great restaurant. Good prices! (Pics: Fried rice with seafood and tierrasanta fried roll)

We go here for sushi every time we come to San Diego! It is our favorite place, and reasonably priced! It's our treat to ourselves to go there for a night out, and is near where we stay. Yum!!! Excellent service too!

First i had a tempura roll with cream cheese, not so much to my liking. Beef in ginger sauce rice bowl, the beef is so chewy.

Chiba 2 has the same menu items. My favorite that keeps me coming back is baked pizza roll and the volcano roll. Nice staff.

the food was bland and cold and no flavor what so ever. shrimp tempura tasted like cardboard batter with shrimp paste inside, tempura sauce like brown warm water, no flavor, rice was bland and wasabi had no kick to it. seared ahi tuna was just ok. my wife and i were totally disappointed with our meal, would not return.
