Adore Cupcakes

One of the best Italian restaurants in San Diego. As a whole, this place sets the standard for memorable meals and exceptional service. Most recent experience lacked quality and consistency in service. Server was very apathetic and unengaging (with all tables). He just did not provide typical high customer-centered service found at this restaurant. The food was excellent as usual. Notice a couple tables got up and left due to the lack of attention and slow responsiveness. Definitely well developed flavor profiles created here with fresh ingredients and attention to details with meal preparation and presentation. Flopped on this visit in service category. It was so slow that we bussed our own table and glass went empty several times with long wait for refills.

We had the most wonderful first experience here! The food was absolutely fantastic! Drinks very tasty! Service outstanding! I forget the name of our server but he was extremely friendly and made our time there more enjoyable. On top of that he was the only server and it was very busy. He did such a great job. This place is extremely busy, so if you plan on going Friday or the weekend, GET A RESERVATION!! The food was pretty good - ordered the infamous cheese pasta, lamb, and the prosciutto. Everything was delicious... But I think that's due to being extremely hungry lol. Overall the price was a bit much cause the lamb wasnt hot and the cheese pasta dish was alright. Service was good too, but the dude gave me so much anxiety by the way he was being super sporadic.

My mom and I went here for lunch on a Saturday. Parking can be difficult/ hard to find. We were able to find street parking about a 2 min walk away. We did not have reservations, but there was no wait to be seated inside or outside. The service was nice and promt. We order the Gnocco Fritto (puffed bread), Insalata Mista (Mixed greens w lemon vinegarette) and Tagliatelle (Fettuccine) pasta with Formaggi (cheesy cream sauce) and chicken added. Starting with the puffed bread, it was good, very light, on the savory side and buttery. It would have been great with a sweet or savory sauce but doesnt come with any. Next the salad was very good, nice and fresh! Just the right about of bitter and sweet! The pasta was definitely the highlight, the noodles were made and cooked fresh, in my opinion they were on the thicker side but still very tasty. The sauce was also very good choice but the chicken was a dry. (Pictured is a half serving as it was split between two dishes) Our total came to $50.65 before tip for two (we stuck with water). Overall a great meal and will definitely be coming back for more pasta!
