First time trying Somali food with my friend. I ordered the chicken suucqar with rice and it was pretty good. It tasted like a mix of Indian and Mediterranean food, which I enjoyed a lot. I also ordered the watermelon drink and Somali tea. The watermelon was alright. The tea was delish. I think it had cinnamon in it which made it tasted even better.

We ordered spaghetti and got this!...smh, no attention to detail. Entire order was wrong, got home and made the discovery..smh...never again!!!

I'm giving this place 5 stars because first of all the food was absolutely amazing and plus it was my first time eating here. I'm definitely coming back.

First time there was yesterday. We ordered 2 spaghetti and chicken stakes. They screwed up the entire order!!! This is why it's difficult for me to support Black owned businesses...smh, they don't give af about customer service or getting orders right. You can see the pic if the mess we got.

Customer service is horrible specially the new girl. They don’t even greet u just rush rush and rush ur food too and mess up orders. Not detail oriented. The girl that always work cashier should work in the front she has less attitude than the guy and the new girl.

I had the chicken sakkur with rice and it was the most amazing chicken and rice I’ve had in years!
And the portions are huge not to mention I felt like I was eating great healthy food I could’ve made this last for three days! Wow you have to try it!!!! I wish there was East African food like this in near me 😩
If I have to drive down to San Diego just to get this once in a while I will because your food was absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to come back and try your other dishes 😍😍😍
